SERVICE MANUAL INTRODUCTION

This technical service manual information assists with troubleshooting and diagnosing malfunctions, completion of repairs, and return of the product to proper operational condition. Read the complete instructions contained within before initiating any repairs.

This guide is for use by factory certified service personnel only. Sub-Zero Group, Inc. assumes no responsibility for repairs made by anyone other than factory certified service technicians.

INTEGRATED REFRIGERATION PRODUCT RATING PLATE LOCATION

For column models, the product rating information is located inside the middle drawer near the drawer guide opposite the hinge. For tall and drawer models, it is located inside the cabinet to the left of the upper drawer.

RATING PLATE INFORMATION

Important information for each product is listed on the product rating plate. Rating plates identify:

• Place of manufacture
• Model
• Serial number
• Refrigerant charges
• Total amp draw when operating
• Electrical information

Rating Plate Example:

The image shows a typical Sub-Zero rating plate with fields for Model, Serial Number, Refrigerant, Voltage, Frequency, and storage volumes. It also indicates the location of manufacture (Goodyear, AZ, USA) and the refrigerant type (R600a).
