Foshan Shuangmusanlin Technology Co., Ltd. will not be held responsible for any damage resulting from the use of this unit with a voltage other than that specified.
- Do not attempt to modify or fix this unit by yourself. Contact a salesperson or customer service when any service is needed. The cabinet should never be opened for any reason.
- When not planning to use this unit for long periods of time (e.g., when going on vacation), disconnect the power cable from the AC wall outlet.

Warranty Terms
1. Term of Service
Foshan Shuangmusanlin Technology Co., Ltd. promises to offer good-quality products. If the product is broken within 7 days after purchasing when used normally, you can choose to send it back for return, replacement, or repairing (only the product that does not affect second sales can be returned). Repairing is free for one year if you use it normally.
2. Date of Purchase
The date of purchase is in accordance with the date on the invoice or receipt used by the seller. If you buy it online, you can show the screenshot of the transaction.
3. Inappropriate Usage
If inappropriate usage causes the unit to be damaged, the warranty will be void. This includes:
- All damages from inappropriate use, including using it under non-normal working environment or without following the instructions.
- Dismantling, refitting, or repairing by the user in private.
- Causing damage by using some fittings instead of the designated or accredited ones.
- Inability to provide credible proof of purchase.
4. Return for Repair
Send the unit back to Foshan Shuangmusanlin Technology Co., Ltd. for repairing.
5. Contact Reseller
Contact your S.M.S.L Audio reseller for a return or replacement.

Remote Control
General Notes
- If the remote control is still ineffective when it is close to the unit, replace it with a new battery.
- If the user does not use the remote control for a long time, remove the battery of the remote control.
- Dispose of used batteries in accordance with local regulations on battery disposal.
Operating the Remote Control
The remote controller uses 2 x R03/AAA batteries.
Remote Control Layout: The remote control features a power button (top left), volume up/down buttons, playback control buttons (Play/Pause, Previous/Fast Reverse, Next/Fast Forward, Stop/Open_Close), a Menu button, function buttons (FN, DISP), a numeric keypad (0-9), and Random/Repeat buttons. Labels indicate functions such as Power ON/OFF, Mute, Volume, Play/Pause, Previous/Fast reverse, Next/Fast forward, Stop, Eject, Numbers, Random, and Repeat. A note indicates that Volume controls are for Headphone Output.
Display Interface and Instructions
Front Panel Diagram: The front panel shows a display screen with track information (e.g., Tr01, 00.28). Numbered buttons are arranged from right to left: 1 [Volume Up(HPA)], 2 [Volume Down(HPA)], 3 [Next/Fast Reverse], 4 [Previous/Fast Forward], 5 [Play/Pause / Power On/Off], 6 [STOP/Open_Close]. On the right side are output jacks: 7 [4.4mm Headphone Jack] and 8 [3.5mm Headphone Jack]. On the left side are input/output ports: 10 [Disc Slot], 13 [DC IN (5V/2A) - Plug Size 5.5x2.1mm], 12 [Optical Output], and 14 [Coaxial Output].
Back Panel Diagram: The back panel features audio output jacks: L/R RCA output, COAXIAL output, and OPTICAL output. It also shows the power input: POWER SUPPLY 5V/2A. Regulatory marks like FC, CE, and ROHS are present. Text indicates "Designed and manufactured by SMSL in China" and "CLASS 1 LASER PRODUCT".

Note: The volume increase or decrease is only valid for the headphone output, and the line output volume is not adjustable.
Instructions
Turn On/Off
- Plug in to power on: Plug in the power cord, and the unit will automatically turn on.
- Button to power on: Press and hold the [Play/Pause / Power On/Off] button on the panel or press the [Power] button on the remote control.
- Button to power off: In the power-on state, press and hold the [Play/Pause / Power On/Off] button on the panel or press the [Power] button on the remote control.
- Please unplug the unit if it will not be used for a long time.
CD Playback
- Insert a disc with the cover facing up.
- The CD player reads the disc's TOC (Table of Contents) and shows total tracks.
- Press the [Play] button on the remote or panel to playback.
Stop/Eject
- Press the [STOP/Open_Close] button on the panel or remote control to stop the current playback.
- Under stop status, pressing the [STOP/Open_Close] button ejects the disc.
- Press the [Eject] button on the remote control to eject or load the disc.
Pause Playback
- During CD playback, if the user wants to interrupt the playback and enter the pause state for a short period, the user can press the [Play/Pause] button on the panel or the remote control. At this time, the display shows a pause icon [⏸️]. If the user presses the button again, it will return to normal playback state.
Previous Track
- In the CD playback state, press the [Previous/Fast Reverse] button on the panel or remote control. This will interrupt the original track and enter into the playback of the previous track.
Next Track
- In the CD playback state, if you want to skip the current track, just press the [Next/Fast Forward] button on the panel or remote control to skip to the next track, which interrupts the playback of the original track and enters into the playback of the next track.
Jump to a Specific Track
- In the CD playback state, if you want to skip to a specified track, the user can press the number combination on the remote control to jump to the specified track. For example, to jump to the 12th track, you need to press "1" and "2" on the remote control.
Random
- In the CD playing state, press the [Random] play button on the remote control. The corresponding icon will be shown on the display. The unit will randomly play the disc tracks until all tracks are played.
- Press the [Random] play button or the [STOP] button again to cancel the random play status.
Repeat
- If the user wants to repeat the current track continuously, press the [Repeat] play button on the remote control once; the display will show the icon [?]. If you want to continuously replay the tracks on the whole disc, press the [Repeat] play button again, and the display shows the [?] icon (full disc repeat). If you want to cancel the Repeat function, press the [Repeat] play button again.
Mute
- Press the [Mute] button on the remote control while playing back; the display will show "MUTE", and the earphone or RCA analog output will be muted.
- In the Muting state, press the [Mute] button on the remote control again, and the earphone or RCA output will resume the normal playback state.
- Mute has no effect on digital output.
