Setup: Inserting Batteries
To begin using your Alexa Voice Remote, follow these simple steps for battery installation:
- Locate and remove the battery compartment cover from the back of the remote.
- Insert two new alkaline AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery compartment cover securely.
Pairing Your Remote with Fire TV
Automatic Pairing:

- Plug your Fire TV device back into the power source and wait until the Home Screen is fully displayed.
- Press and hold the Home [?] button on the remote for approximately 10-15 seconds, until the indicator LED flashes rapidly. Release the button and wait for 30-60 seconds. This action puts the remote into pairing mode.
- The remote should automatically pair with your device. If pairing is unsuccessful, repeat the entire reset and pairing process from step 1.
