Safety Instructions

Warnings

Restrictions on use:

• Do not use the scale in healthcare facilities or locations where wireless electronic devices are prohibited, such as gas stations, fuel/chemical storage areas, or near flammable objects.
• The scale's radio waves may affect implanted medical devices (e.g., pacemakers, cochlear implants, hearing aids). Consult a doctor before use if you have such devices. Use under supervision and maintain a safe distance.
• Keep batteries and accessories away from children and pets to prevent harm or device errors.

Product Overview

This scale provides weight measurement data for health, fat loss, and body shaping. It supports various modes: weighing, baby weighing, small object weighing, guest measurement, and balance testing.

Product Components:

• 1 Display: Shows measurement data.
• 2 Scale: The main weighing surface.
• 3 Reset Button: Used for rebinding or restoring factory settings.
• 4 Battery Cover: Located on the underside for battery access.

Measurement Data & Display

Display Indicators:

• Bluetooth® icon: White indicates a normal Bluetooth connection; blinking white indicates no connection.
• [⚠️ Over 150 kg]: Indicates the measured value exceeds 150 kg.
• [? Low Battery]: Low battery level; replace batteries to prevent leakage.

Functions

• Weight weighing mode: Step on the scale to measure weight without Bluetooth.
• Small object weighing mode: For objects 0.1 kg or above. Wake the scale by stepping on it or pressing the surface. Wait for the display to show 0.0 kg before measurement.
• Weighing with baby/Balance testing: Enable these modes in the Xiaomi Home app and follow in-app instructions. Requires app connection.
• Offline weighing mode: Data is saved without phone connection and uploaded when the scale reconnects to the Xiaomi Home app.
• Visitor measurement: Enter guest information in the app for measurement; data is not saved.
• Device sharing: Share the scale with other Xiaomi Account users via the app. The main account must disconnect first.
• Restore factory settings: Press and hold the reset button for 7 seconds to rebind or reset.

Note: For Over-the-Air (OTA) updates, connect to the app and follow instructions.

How to Use

Installing the Batteries

1. Turn the scale over and open the battery cover.

2. Install AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Replace the cover; the scale will turn on.

Notes:

• After battery installation, place the scale on a hard, flat surface. Wait 30 seconds or gently step on it. Use after the display shows 0.0 kg.
• After installing batteries or moving the scale, it might show a value. Wait 5 seconds for the display to turn off, then gently step on it to wake it up. Use once 0.0 kg is displayed.

Connecting with the Xiaomi Home App

This product works with the Xiaomi Home app for control. Scan the QR code to download and install the app. If already installed, it will direct to the setup page. Alternatively, search for "Xiaomi Home" in your app store.

Open the Xiaomi Home app, tap "+" (upper right), and follow instructions to add the device.

Note: The scale can only be paired with and connected to the Xiaomi Home app.

App Compatibility: Android 8.0 & iOS 12.0 or above.

Note: App versions may vary; follow current app instructions.

Ensure your device and scale are connected via Bluetooth in the Xiaomi Home app to view data. If disconnected, measurement data is saved on the scale and uploaded later. For data access without direct connection, ensure a Bluetooth gateway device is added to the app.

Measuring Weight

1. Place the scale on a hard, flat surface, ensuring feet are level with the ground.

2. Ensure the scale is connected to the app or gateway for full functionality; otherwise, only weight measurement is possible.

Correct Measurement Postures

• Stand straight with knees and feet apart.
• Keep standing straight naturally.

Incorrect Measurement Postures

• Keep knees bent and feet not apart. [❌]

Precautions

• Do not move feet or step off the scale during measurement unless necessary.
• Measure body weight at the same time and under the same conditions daily.
• Use the scale in a dry environment; avoid damp areas like bathrooms.
• Do not immerse the scale in water or any liquid.
• Do not step on the scale with wet feet or if the surface is wet to avoid slipping.
• Avoid environments with temperatures above 40°C, below 0°C, or near strong magnetic fields. Keep away from water sources, fire, and dusty/corrosive environments.
• Do not use near high-temperature sources (heaters, ovens, fires) to prevent battery issues or errors.
• Do not impact, squeeze, drop, throw, or scratch the scale. Contact the after-sales service team if damaged. Do not attempt to remove broken parts.
• Follow this manual for proper scale usage.

Battery Safety Warnings

• Use only safe and qualified AAA alkaline batteries. Incorrect types may cause explosions or fires.
• Do not expose batteries to extreme temperatures (direct sunlight, fire, microwave, oven) as this can cause explosions or leaks.
• Do not disassemble, strike, squeeze, cut, or puncture batteries.
• Avoid extremely low air pressure, which can cause explosions or leaks.
• Do not swallow batteries to avoid chemical burns. Seek immediate medical help if swallowed.
• Ensure the battery compartment is securely closed. Keep batteries away from children.
• Dispose of batteries according to local laws and regulations; do not treat as household waste.

Care & Maintenance

• Wipe the scale with a clean, slightly damp, soft cloth (mild detergent is acceptable), then dry with a dry cloth or paper towel.
• Remove batteries before cleaning.
• Do not use corrosive solutions, as they can damage or discolor the scale.
• Do not use external heating equipment (microwaves, hair dryers) to dry the scale.
• Do not use damaged or leaking batteries. If the scale is stored for over 3 months, remove batteries and check them before reuse.
• Do not disassemble or modify the scale or accessories.
• Do not store or transport the scale with flammable or explosive materials.
• If the scale overheats, deforms, swells, or batteries leak during storage, stop use immediately and contact the after-sales service team.
