• The product is intended for private, non-commercial use only.

5. Start-up and Operation

Note – USB 1.1 Compatibility: The USB 2.0 chip card reader is backwards-compatible with USB 1.1.

No additional drivers are required; installation takes place automatically.

To use the chip card reader, you will need a smart card or ID card, as well as suitable software. This software can be obtained from your bank, your local council, or other approved institutions. This software is not included with the product.

Other free or purchasable software and chip cards that allow you to use your chip card reader can be found on the Internet.

• Connect the USB 2.0 chip card reader to a spare USB port on your computer.
• During data transfer, the control light lights up green.

6. ID Function

The product supports ID cards from the countries listed above.

7. Care and Maintenance

• Only clean this product with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents.
• Ensure that no water is able to enter the product.
