Attaching the diffuser creates a soft light effect with a colour temperature change from 5600k to 3200k. The light is designed with slots to slide in the diffuser and filter (as pictured below). 1 Without filter and diffuser With diffuser With 3200k filter 2.Screws: There are two screw which allow you to adjust the direction of the LED lighting. 3.Hot Shoe Adapter The hot shoe adapter is a fixture used to connect the LED lighting and camera apparatus 4.Battery: There are five different compatible battery types: AA- Ni-MH or alkaline battery, Panasonic Li-ion battery, Sony Li-ion battery FH, FM and F models. 5.Battery adapter: Specifically for a Panasonic Li-ion battery. 6.ON-OFF Switch Knob: For power ON-OFF dimming, users can adjust light brightness according to shooting under different circumstances . 7. Power level button Once button is pushed, the indicators will light to show current power output. 8. Power level indicators - Power is at full level when all indicators are lit after pressing the button. Fewer indicators equals lower power output, with no indicators signifying that the battery needs recharging or replacing. 9.Gels Holder. For holding the diffuser and filter. I0.Battery Cover: For securing battery. 3.Instructions 1.Insert battery - When inserting AA batteries, please respect the positive and negative polarity according to the "+" and "-" marks.. When inserting a Li-ion battery, please position the battery with the correct size and direction into the holder and press evenly to ensure it is snug. If installing a Panasonic battery, the battery adapter must be mounted on the battery holder to accommodate the Panasonic battery. After installing the batteries, please check the battery power and make sure the LED light is working. 2 Sony F Series Batteries Sony FM Series Batteries Sony FH Series Batteries Panasonic SD Series Batteries AA Batteries 2. Mount the LED lamp on the camera and slide into the hotshoe, tighten the screw to secure. 3. Adjusting the light intensity and light direction : Turn the dimmer switch to power on the LED lamp and adjust the light intensity. The orientation of the light can also be set by loosening the adjusting knobs. 4. Turn off the light after use. 4. Notice 1.Please turn of the power after use in order to avoid draining the battery and to prevent generating excessive heat which may affect the service life of the LED bulbs. 2.If using AA batteries, please remove them when the LED light is not in use as batteries unused for a long period may damage the circuit inside the LED light itself. 3.Do not exert excessive force when inserting the battery to avoid damaging the battery holder. 5.Do not bear the total weight of the camera by lifting both up by the head of the light. 6.Do not store or use the light in damp conditions and avoid long term exposure to the sun to maximise the service life of the light. 3
