Prior to a permanent adhesive installation, if possible, leave the rubber ramp upside down in full sunlight for a day (Fig. 1). LIGHT SANDPAPER 2. Use 120 or 80 grit sandpaper to rough up the underside surface of the ramp, refer (Fig. 2) and (Fig. 3). This will ensure the best adhesive bond of the rubber ramp to a hard flat surface. INSTALLATION (read all steps before proceeding) 3. Ensure the ground surface under the ramp is hard, flat and dry. The location must be free of dirt and dust. Place the ramp in the desired location and mark its position on the ground. 4. Apply adhesive along the underside perimeter of the ramp in a zig-zag pattern to ensure best ramp and ground contact coverage. Ensure to stay 15-20mm away from the edge (Fig. 3). Suggested adhesives: Selley's Flexiseal Polyurethane Sealant, Armour Flex, or SIKAFlex 11FC+ Fig. 2 Fig. 3 5. In your ground marked location, carefully position the ramp and press down evenly on the ramp until satisfied. Place an even weighted object on top of ramp and leave in place. Do not walk on the ramp until adhesive has fully cured. (NOTE: Refer to adhesive manufacturer's instructions, some adhesives require longer curing times due to climate conditions such as humidity, hot or cold temperatures. Curing times can take up to 72 Hours. SUPPORT T +61 8 8384 5455 E tech.advice@raven.com.au
