How to Print A3 Size Files to A4 Size Paper
This document provides instructions for printing A3 sized documents onto A4 paper using Epson printers.

Procedure
This guide uses an Epson L6190 printer with Windows 10 64-bit operating system and Microsoft Office Word as an example.
Step 1: Access Printer Preferences
Open the Control Panel, select "Devices and Printers." Right-click on your Epson L6190 printer and choose "Printing Preferences."
A list of available actions for the printer will appear, including:
- Open
- Open in new window
- View print jobs
- Set as default printer
- Printing Preferences
- Printer Properties
- Create shortcut
- Remove device
- Troubleshoot
- Content (R)
Step 2: Adjust Paper Size Settings
In the printer preferences window, navigate to the "More Options" tab. Set the "Document Size" to "A3" and the "Paper Size" for actual printing to "A4." Click "OK" to confirm the settings.
Within the "More Options" tab, you will find settings for:
- Print Defaults
- New/Remove Defaults...
- Document - Fast
- Document - Standard Quality
- Document - High Quality
- Document - Duplex
- Document - 2-in-1
- Document - Fast Grayscale
- Document - Grayscale
Under the Scaling Options section:
- Select "Fit to Page" or "Scale."
- Adjust the scaling percentage if needed (e.g., 70%).
- Ensure "Center" is selected if desired.
Under Color Correction:
- Choose between "Automatic" or "Custom."
- Click "Advanced..." for more color settings.
- Click "Image Options..." for image-specific adjustments.
Under Additional Settings:
- Rotate 180 degrees
- High Speed ✔️
- Horizontal Flip
Click "OK" to apply the changes.
