WARNING – Battery
- Stop using if the battery is leaking.
- If battery fluid contacts eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and consult a doctor.
- If fluid contacts hands, wash them thoroughly with water. Wipe any external fluid with a cloth.
WARNING – Electrical Safety
- Use only the provided AC adapter (HAC-002) or USB charging cable (HAC-010) for charging.
- If you hear strange noises, see smoke, or smell something unusual, stop use and contact Nintendo Customer Support.
- Do not expose the device to fire, microwaves, direct sunlight, or extreme temperatures.
- Avoid contact with liquids and do not use with wet or oily hands. If liquid enters, stop use and contact Nintendo Customer Support.
- Do not apply excessive force to the product or battery. Do not pull or twist the cable tightly.
- Do not touch the product while charging during a thunderstorm.
WARNING – General
- Keep product and packaging away from young children. Packaging can be swallowed; the cable can coil around the neck.
- Do not use the controller within 15 cm of a pacemaker when wireless communication is active. Consult a doctor if you have an implanted medical device.
- Wireless communication may be restricted in places like airplanes or hospitals. Follow regulations.
- Do not disassemble or attempt to repair the product or battery. Contact Nintendo Customer Support if damaged. Avoid contact with leaking fluid.
CAREFUL USAGE
- If the product gets dirty, wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid thinners or solvents.
- Charge the battery at least once every six months. Extended non-use may make charging impossible.

How to Charge

Option 2: Connect the controller directly to the AC adapter.

How to Pair
Connecting the controller via Option 1 and turning on the console will pair it automatically.
Manual Pairing Steps:
- Open CONTROLLERS on the HOME Menu.
- Select CHANGE GRIP/ORDER.
- Hold the SYNC Button on the controller.
- The Player LED will turn solid when paired.
