Safety and Use
Please read this chapter carefully before using your device. The manufacturer disclaims any liability for damage resulting from improper use or use contrary to these instructions.
- Do not use your device while driving if it is not safely parked, as this is illegal in many countries.
- Comply with restrictions on use in specific places such as hospitals, airplanes, gas stations, and schools.
- Switch the device off before boarding an aircraft.
- Switch the device off in healthcare facilities, except in designated areas.
- Switch the device off when near gas or flammable liquids. Strictly obey all signs and instructions in fuel depots, petrol stations, or chemical plants, or in any potentially explosive atmosphere.
- Turn off your mobile device or wireless device when in a blasting area or in areas posted with notifications requesting "two-way radios" or "electronic devices" to be turned off, to avoid interfering with blasting operations.
- Consult your doctor and the device manufacturer to determine if your device may interfere with medical devices (e.g., pacemakers, hearing aids, insulin pumps). Keep the device at least 15 cm (approx. 6 inches) away from any medical device when it is switched on.
- Do not let children use or play with the device and accessories without supervision.
- To reduce exposure to radio waves: Keep the device away from the belly of pregnant women or the lower abdomen of adolescents.
- Do not expose your device to adverse weather or environmental conditions (moisture, humidity, rain, liquid infiltration, dust, sea air, etc.).
- The recommended operating temperature range is 0°C (32°F) to 40°C (104°F). Temperatures above 40°C (104°F) may temporarily impair display legibility.
- Use only batteries, battery chargers, and accessories compatible with your device model.
- Do not use a damaged device (e.g., cracked display, dented back cover) as it may cause injury.
- Do not keep the device connected to the charger with the battery fully charged for extended periods, as this can cause overheating and shorten battery life.
- Do not sleep with the device on your person or in your bed. Do not place the device under blankets, pillows, or your body, especially when connected to the charger, as this may cause overheating.
Protect Your Hearing
⚠️ To prevent possible hearing damage, do not listen at high volume levels for long periods. Exercise caution when holding your device near your ear while the loudspeaker is in use.
Battery Information
- The battery may not be fully charged upon arrival due to air regulations. Please charge it first.
- Do not attempt to open the battery (risk of toxic fumes and burns).
- For devices with non-removable batteries, do not attempt to eject or replace the battery.
- Do not puncture, disassemble, or cause a short circuit in the battery.
- For unibody devices, do not attempt to open or puncture the back cover.
- Do not burn or dispose of a used battery or device in household rubbish. Do not store at temperatures above 60°C (140°F), as this can result in explosion or leakage of flammable liquid/gas. Subjecting the battery to extremely low air pressure may also cause explosion or leakage.
- Only use the battery for its intended purpose. Never use damaged batteries.
- CAUTION: RISK OF EXPLOSION IF BATTERY IS REPLACED BY AN INCORRECT TYPE. DISPOSE OF USED BATTERIES ACCORDING TO THE INSTRUCTIONS.
- Device, accessories, and batteries must be disposed of in accordance with locally applicable environmental regulations.
- The symbol ♻️ (or similar symbol indicating separate collection) on your device, battery, and accessories means these products must be taken to designated collection points at the end of their life:
- Municipal waste disposal centers with specific bins for electronic equipment.
- Collection bins at points of sale.
- Recycling helps prevent substances from entering the environment and allows components to be reused.
Chargers
- Home AC/Travel chargers operate within the temperature range of 0°C (32°F) to 40°C (104°F).
- Chargers designed for your device meet safety standards for information technology and office equipment. Due to varying electrical specifications, a charger purchased in one jurisdiction may not work in another. Use chargers only for their intended purpose.
- Power Supply Characteristics (may vary by country):
- Travel Charger Input: 100-240V, 50/60Hz, 0.35A
- Travel Charger Output: 5V, 2A
- Battery: Lithium 6000 mAh (Typical Capacity)
Radio Waves & RF Exposure
THIS DEVICE MEETS THE GOVERNMENT'S REQUIREMENTS FOR EXPOSURE TO RADIO WAVES.
- The exposure standard uses the Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) unit. The SAR limit set by public authorities (e.g., FCC in the US, ISEDC in Canada) is 1.6 W/kg averaged over 1 gram of body tissue.
- Tests for SAR are conducted using standard operating positions at the device's highest certified power level across all tested frequency bands.
- This device complies with SAR limits for general population/uncontrolled exposure according to ANSI/IEEE C95.1-1992 and has been tested per IEEE1528.
- The FCC has granted an Equipment Authorization for this model with SAR levels evaluated as compliant with FCC RF exposure guidelines. SAR information can be found on the FCC website (www.fcc.gov/oet/ea/fccid) by searching for FCC ID: 2ACCJB225.
- The highest SAR value for this device when tested for use close to the body is XXX W/Kg.
- While SAR levels may vary between devices and positions, they all meet government RF exposure requirements.
- For body-worn operation, the device meets FCC RF exposure guidelines when used with a non-metallic accessory and the handset is at least 0 mm from the body. Using other accessories may not ensure compliance.
- Additional SAR information is available on the Cellular Telecommunications & Internet Association (CTIA) website: www.ctia.org/.
- This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in residential installations.
- This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy. If not installed and used per instructions, it may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation.
- If interference to radio or television reception occurs (which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on), the user is encouraged to try to correct it by one or more of the following measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
- Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to operate the equipment.
