Common Problems
Fail to pair Wi-Fi devices with eWeLink APP
- Ensure the device is in pairing mode. The device exits pairing mode automatically if not paired within 3 minutes.
- Turn on location services on your mobile phone and grant permission. Location information is needed to obtain the Wi-Fi list. If location is disabled, the device cannot be added.
- Ensure your Wi-Fi network runs on the 2.4GHz band.
- Enter the correct Wi-Fi SSID and password. Avoid special characters, as they can cause pairing failures.
- For better signal transmission during pairing, place the device close to the router.
- Try pairing the device in compatible mode.
Wi-Fi devices "Offline" issues
Check the Wi-Fi LED indicator status:
- LED blinking once every 2 seconds indicates failure to connect to the router.
- Ensure correct Wi-Fi SSID and password entry, without special characters (e.g., Hebrew, Arabic characters) which the system may not recognize.
- Check if your router has a low carrying capacity or if the Wi-Fi signal is weak due to distance or obstacles.
- Verify the device's MAC address is not on your router's MAC management blacklist.
LED indicator flashes twice on repeated means you fail to connect to the server.
- Ensure your internet connection is normal.
- Check if your router's device limit has been reached. Remove devices or use a router with higher capacity if necessary.
- Contact your ISP to confirm server addresses are not blocked:
- cn-disp.coolkit.cc (China Mainland)
- as-disp.coolkit.cc (Asia except China)
- eu-disp.coolkit.cc (EU)
- us-disp.coolkit.cc (US)
If problems persist, submit an issue via 'Help & Feedback' in the eWeLink App.
