Using the Product
- Remove any stickers that might prevent operation.
- Check the unit for damages. Do not use if damaged.
- Before switching on, ensure your home's main voltage matches the unit's operating voltage.
- Make sure the oven is unplugged and the Timer Knob is in the Off position.
- Clean the parts of the KENT OTG 42 L before first use (refer to 'Cleaning & Maintenance' section).
- Ensure all parts are completely dry before starting.
- After re-assembling, it is recommended to run the appliance at MAX temperature for approximately 15 minutes.
Note: It is advised to use the appliance with a voltage stabilizer.
Rotisserie Fork Using Tips
- Insert the fork into the rod until near the end and secure with the thumbscrew.
- Insert the food from the other side of the rod.
- Place a second fork on the other side of the rod and secure with the thumbscrew. Ensure the food is centered and firm on the rod.
- Insert the rod with the food into the oven. Place one side of the rod into the support-hole and the other side onto the support-bracket.

Function Knob Settings
This oven is equipped with six positions for various cooking needs:
- Lower heating elements
- Upper and lower heating elements + convection
- Upper heating elements + convection
- Upper and lower heating elements
- Upper heating elements + rotisserie
- Upper and lower heating elements + convection + rotisserie
Thermostat Knob
Choose desired temperature from Low - 90° - 230°C (Low is cooking at room temperature).
Timer Knob
Turn control to the left: "Stay On" (counter-clockwise) for continuous operation until manually shut off. Turn to the right (clockwise) for timed operation. A bell sound will be heard at the end of the programmed time.
How to Operate

Function: Cake
This function is ideal for general cake baking.
Operation:
- Place the food on the wire rack / food tray and insert into the middle support guide of the oven.
- Set the [Function Knob] to the cake setting.
- Set the [Thermostat Knob] to the desired temperature.
- Set the [Timer Knob] to the desired cooking time.
- Use the handle to help side food in and out when checking or removing food.
Note: When cooking is complete, a bell sound will indicate the end of the programmed time, and the Timer Knob will return to the off position automatically. Open the door and remove food promptly to prevent over-drying.
CAUTION: Cooked food, metal rack/tray, and door can be very hot; handle with care.
Function: Bread, Pizza, Fowl
This function is ideal for cooking bread, pizza, and fowl.
Operation:
- Place the food on the wire rack / food tray and insert into the middle support guide of the oven.
- Set the [Function Knob] to the bread/pizza/fowl setting.
- Set the [Thermostat Knob] to the desired temperature.
- Set the [Timer Knob] to the desired cooking time.
- Use the handle to help side food in and out when checking or removing food.
Note: When cooking is complete, a bell sound will indicate the end of the programmed time, and the Timer Knob will return to the off position automatically. Open the door and remove food promptly to prevent over-drying.
CAUTION: Cooked food, metal rack/tray, and door can be very hot; handle with care.
Function: Convection Baking
This function is ideal for baking pork slices, chicken legs, chicken wings, potato flakes, poultry meat, chops, fish, and similar items with more even heating.
Note: Toasting times are based on refrigerator-temperature meats. Frozen meats may take longer; a meat thermometer is recommended.
Operation:
- Place the food on the wire rack / food tray and insert into the middle support guide of the oven.
- Set the [Function Knob] to the convection setting.
- Set the [Thermostat Knob] to the desired temperature.
- Set the [Timer Knob] to the desired cooking time.
- Check baked goods for doneness 5-10 minutes before expected completion.
Note: When cooking is complete, a bell sound will indicate the end of the programmed time, and the Timer Knob will return to the off position automatically. Open the door and remove food promptly to prevent over-drying.
CAUTION: Cooked food, metal rack/tray, and door can be very hot; handle with care. Do not leave the oven unattended.
Function: Rotisserie
This function is ideal for cooking whole chickens or fowl.
Note: Toasting times are based on refrigerator-temperature meats. Frozen meats may take considerably longer; a meat thermometer is highly recommended.
Operation:
- Place the whole chicken on the rotisserie rod and secure with the forks. Insert the rod into the rotisserie hole position and close the door.
- Note: Place the Food tray at the bottom rack slot to collect oil drips. Adding water to the food tray before cooking can improve results.
- Set the [Function Knob] to the rotisserie setting.
- Set the [Thermostat Knob] to the desired temperature.
- Set the [Timer Knob] to the desired cooking time.
- Check baked goods for doneness 5-10 minutes before expected completion.
- Use the provided spit handle to avoid scalding when checking or removing food.
Note: When cooking is complete, a bell sound will indicate the end of the programmed time, and the Timer Knob will return to the off position automatically. Open the door and remove food promptly to prevent over-drying.

Cleaning & Maintenance
- Let the appliance cool down to normal temperature.
- Switch off and unplug the appliance before cleaning.
- Open the glass door and clean with a solution of lukewarm water and soap.

Terms & Conditions of Warranty
- KENT warrants all new products to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal usage and service from the date of purchase for one year.
- The warranty period commences from the date of purchase by the first end-user. During this period, KENT or its Authorised Service Provider (ASP) will replace or repair any defective part due to faulty material or workmanship, excluding consumables.
- The product's body is not covered under warranty and requires careful handling to prevent breakage.
- The original purchaser can avail services under warranty at the point of sale by producing the damaged part(s) with the original invoice.
- This warranty is void if the unit is not operated under normal conditions or according to manual instructions.
- Products returned to KENT or its ASP for warranty examination must be shipped freight prepaid.
- KENT or its ASP is not liable for claims exceeding the cost of repair of defects in workmanship.
- This warranty agreement does not render KENT or its ASP liable for injuries or damages of any kind to persons or property.
- KENT or its ASP is not responsible for failure to abide by warranty obligations due to circumstances beyond their control (Force Majeure).
- KENT or its ASP is not liable for repair or alterations made without prior written approval for product failures resulting from lack of proper maintenance.
- This warranty agreement excludes parts subjected to misuse, misapplication, negligence, alteration, accident, or operation contrary to instructions, incompatibility with non-KENT accessories, or repairs by unauthorized personnel. Damage caused by freezing, flood, fire, or Act of God is not covered. Regular charges will apply in such cases. This limited warranty does not include service to diagnose a claimed malfunction.
- KENT reserves the right to alter or improve design and specifications at any time without contingent obligations to previous buyers.
- Disagreements and obligations are governed by the laws of INDIA and subject to the jurisdiction of Delhi Courts.
- KENT or its ASP assumes no warranty liability beyond what is specified herein. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including warranties of fitness for a particular purpose. KENT or its ASP does not authorize anyone to assume other obligations.
- Under no circumstances shall the liability of KENT or its ASP exceed the value of the product.
- The terms mentioned above are not negotiable, and no employee of KENT or its ASP has the authority to supersede them.
