JBL QuantumENGINE

Download JBL QuantumENGINE to gain full access to features on your JBL Quantum headsets. This includes headset calibration, adjusting 3D audio to suit your hearing, creating customized RGB lighting effects, and determining how the boom microphone side-tone works. Visit JBLquantum.com/engine for more information.

Platform: Windows 7 / Windows 10 (64 bit) only.

Storage: 500MB of free hard drive space for installation.

Note: Always use the latest version of Windows 10 for the most optimal experience on JBL QuantumENGINE.

Note: JBL QuantumSURROUND and DTS Headphone:X V2.0 are available on Windows only and require software installation.

004 Power On & Connect

Powering On:

Press and hold the Power button [⏻ ON] (01) for more than 5 seconds.

Connecting via 2.4G Wireless:

Connect the USB Wireless Dongle to your PC, Mac, or PlayStation™. The headset will automatically connect.

Manual Controls:

Refer to the diagrams for manual control operations.

005 Setup

Connect the headset to your device (Xbox™, PlayStation™, Nintendo Switch™, Mobile, MAC, VR) as shown in the diagrams.

006 Button Command

• Increase Game Volume: Press the Volume Control button [?+] (02) upwards.
• Increase Chat Volume: Press the Volume Control button [?+] (15) upwards.
• Increase Master Volume: Press the Volume Control button [?+] (02 or 15) upwards.
• Decrease Master Volume: Press the Volume Control button [?-] (02 or 15) downwards.
• Microphone Mute / Unmute: Press the Mic Mute button [??] (16) once. The Notification LED (04) will indicate mute status (Red for Mute, Off for Unmute).
• JBL Quantum LIGHTING ON/OFF: Press and hold the Power ON/OFF slider (13) for more than 5 seconds.

007 First Time Setup

1. Connect the headset to your PC via 2.4G USB wireless connection.
2. Go to "Sound Settings" [⚙️] → "Sound Control Panel" [?️].
3. Under "Playback", highlight "JBL QUANTUM600 GAME" and select "Set Default" [✔️] → "Default Device".
4. Highlight "JBL QUANTUM600 CHAT" and select "Set Default" [✔️] → "Default Communication Device".
5. Under "Recording", highlight "JBL QUANTUM600 CHAT" and select "Set Default" [✔️] → "Default Device".
6. In your chat application, select "JBL QUANTUM600 CHAT" as the default audio device.
7. Follow the onscreen instructions to personalize your sound settings.

008 Microphone

The Notification LED (04) indicates microphone mute status: Red for Mute, Off for Unmute.

009 Charging

Connect the USB charging cable to the headset's USB-C port (08) and a power source. Charging takes approximately 2 hours [2HR].

010 LED Behaviours

Microphone Status:

• MIC MUTE: LED is Red [??]

Battery Status:

• LOW BATTERY: LED flashes Red [?❗]
• CHARGING: LED is Solid Red [?⚡]

2.4G Wireless Status:

• 2.4G PAIRING: LED flashes White [??]

Power Status:

• POWER ON: LED is White [⏻ ON]
• POWER OFF: LED is Off [⏻ OFF]
