WALL HUNG VANITY WITH WALL BRACKET SYSTEM FOR HOLLOW WALLS

Step 1: Pre-cladding

Diagram shows a wall stud, drywall, and a horizontal noggin installed within the wall frame. Text indicates that the horizontal noggin should be installed at the framing stage, factoring in the desired height of the vanity and basin.

Step 2: Post-cladding

Diagram shows a wall stud and drywall.

Step 3: Mounting Screws

All mounting screws must be tightened into a stud. The table below indicates the minimum quantity of screws required based on vanity size:

Vanity SizeMinimum qty of screws on stud
24"2
25"-48"3
49"-72"4
73"-up5

Step 4: Drawer Preparation

To avoid damage, remove cabinet drawers. Cover the drawer runners with a plastic sheet to prevent debris from entering the mechanism. Refer to pages 12-14 for detailed instructions on removing drawers/doors for runners.

Step 5: Securing the Cabinet

Place the cabinet against the wall. Use an electric drill to drive screws through the metal L-shape bracket and the wooden back panel into the wall.

Step 6: Final Mounting Screws

Place the final mounting screws into the "L" shape bracket. Use an anchor if the drill position is not on a stud.

Step 7: Leveling and Sealing

Use a spirit level to mark all holes and use the proper drill bit to make holes for the wooden mounting bracket. Apply non-acidic kitchen & bathroom silicone.

Step 8: Sealing the Unit

The unit must be sealed along the back edge of the top and down the sides against the wall using non-acidic bathroom & kitchen silicone. Seal around the cabinet with silicone.

Step 9: Basin Installation

Please note: When installing an undermount basin or counter basin onto a stone top, they must be siliconed on. When the silicone has dried, ensure you caulk around the basin and stone top.

Step 10: Completion

The vanity is now ready for tapware and waste installation.

FREESTANDING VANITY (WITH ADJUSTING SCREWS)

Step 1: Bracket Installation

Use a spirit level to mark and install all brackets level.

Step 2: Cabinet Preparation

Reverse the carton while unpacking, keeping cabinet legs upward. Turn the leg end screws. Note: Do not fix the screws while turning; the left distance is used for adjustment. Reverse the cabinet. Note: This process requires two workers to prevent drawers from coming out. It is necessary to measure the cabinet level to adjust it properly.

Step 3: Vanity Placement and Securing

Place the vanity onto the wall at the desired height. Check the level from side to side and front to back. Packers may be required to level the vanity unit and prevent cabinet twisting. Once the vanity is level, fasten it to the wall using the provided screws, cap, and boss. Installers must check and adjust to avoid mistakes.

Step 4: Unit Sealing

The unit must be sealed along the back edge of the top and down the sides against the wall with non-acidic bathroom & kitchen silicone.

Step 5: Basin Installation

Please note: When installing an undermount basin or counter basin onto a stone top, they must be siliconed on. When the silicone has dried, ensure you caulk around the basin and stone top.

Step 6: Completion

The vanity is now ready for tapware and waste installation.

IMPORTANT

All fixing screws that hold the vanity unit onto the wall must be fixed through the wall into a horizontal noggin. Failure to do so will result in the vanity falling off the wall.
