Safety Precautions and Maintenance
- Unplug the monitor before cleaning it with a slightly damp cloth.
- It is recommended to wipe the screen with a clean, dry cloth when the monitor is switched off.
- Do not use alcohol or ammonia-based liquids.
- This monitor is designed with ventilation holes; please do not cover or block them.
- Avoid placing the monitor near an electric heater or in an enclosed room without ventilation.
- Please do not insert objects or spray any liquid on the monitor.
- Please do not position the monitor on an uneven surface. Doing so may cause the monitor to fall and become damaged or cause injury to the user.
- Unplug the monitor if it will not be in use for an extended period of time.
- Please do not place heavy items on the monitor or electric cord.
- Do not open the monitor's back panel, as the monitor contains high voltage currents.
Caution: RISK OF ELECTRONIC SHOCK. DO NOT OPEN. The lightning flash with arrowhead symbol, within an equilateral triangle, is intended to alert the user to the presence of "dangerous voltage" within the product's enclosure that may be of sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock.
Note: The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of important operating and maintenance (servicing) instructions in the literature.

Indicator Light
- Blue light indicates the power is on.
- Blue light indicates the signal is operating normally.
- Blue flash indicates there is no input signal.

Screen Image Setups
The control panel at the rear has five keys to adjust the monitor settings with the aid of the on-screen display.
Control Panel Buttons:
- Menu: Displays main menus; alternate function: Enter
- Down/Up: Adjust Brightness and Contrast; Navigate up/down when in MENU
- AUTO: Acts as Auto-config; acts as EXIT when in MENU
- Power: ON/OFF button
Troubleshooting
- No image on screen
- a) Check if the monitor is powered ON.
- b) Verify that the monitor's brightness and contrast are within the normal settings.
- c) Check if the power indicator is flashing. If so, this indicates that the monitor is not receiving the input signal.
- d) If connected to a notebook or laptop, make sure that the TV signal has been switched to the correct screen mode.
- Image is out of focus or blurry
- a) Check if the image signal cable is inserted properly (upright position).
- Screen is flashing
- a) The power is insufficient or too weak to connect the monitor.
- b) To avoid magnetic field around the monitor, do not place the following devices too close to it: speakers, fluorescent lighting, AC transformer, table fan, etc.
- c) Press the Exit key at the rear of the monitor, and the Auto Adjust Image function will automatically apply, optimizing settings to the display.
- Monitor is displaying wrong or unusual colors
- a) If red, green, blue, or any unusual color disappears, check to see if the signal cord is connected properly. If the plug is loosely connected, it may cause a poor connection.
- b) Try connecting to another PC for comparison.
- Cleaning the monitor
- a) Make sure that the monitor's power has been switched OFF.
- b) Do not spray any liquid directly on the screen or plastic panel.
- c) Use a clean, soft cloth to clean the monitor screen.
- d) If it is still dirty, you may add a small amount of ammonia-free liquid and alcohol-free glass cleaner to remove excess residue on the monitor screen.
