Innovative Speed Pocket Design
TaylorMade's latest innovation in clubface dynamics features a new, more efficient Speed Pocket design. This advancement allows for a smaller yet more effective pocket, enabling weight savings that are strategically repositioned to lower and move the Center of Gravity (CG) forward. This combination results in enhanced ball speed and a more favorable launch profile.
Low/Forward CG for Superior Performance
The SLDR fairway woods boast an exceptionally low and forward CG location, a key factor in achieving faster ball speeds and reduced spin. This design, coupled with the Speed Pocket technology and a shallow face, facilitates an easy launch and sustained speed off the clubface, leading to greater distance. The TaylorMade loft-sleeve technology provides adjustability, allowing for ±1.5 degrees of loft change to optimize performance for individual golfers.
