PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Earphones

Description of Earphones: Each earphone features a 'Status LED' indicator and a touch-sensitive area for 'Double tap' controls.

Charging Case

Description of Charging Case: The charging case has multiple 'Battery status LED' indicators to show charge level and a 'Micro USB charging port' for charging.

CHARGING

Note: Fully charge the earphones and the charging case before first use and at least once every three months to keep the batteries fresh and capable of holding a full charge.

To charge the earphones, insert them into the charging case. The Status LEDs will illuminate while charging is in progress and will extinguish when charging is complete.

When the earphones are placed in the case, the case will illuminate its Battery Status LEDs for 8 seconds to indicate its battery charge level. When no LEDs or only a single LED illuminates, the case should be charged. To charge the case, plug one end of the included USB charging cable into the Micro USB Charging Port on the case, then plug the other end into an available USB power source, such as a wall charger or computer port (not included).

While charging is in progress, the LEDs will illuminate to show the current charge level. When charging is complete, all four LEDs will be illuminated.

A full charge for the earphones takes about 1.5 hours and will allow up to 6 hours of call/playback time at 80% volume level. A full charge on the charging case takes about 2 hours and is sufficient to allow an additional 14 hours of call/playback time. Charging the earphones for about 20 minutes will provide a sufficient charge for up to 2 hours of call/playback time.

GETTING STARTED

  1. Open the cover on the charging case and remove the earphones. They will automatically power on and pair with each other. The earphones will say "Power on".
  2. If the earphones have not yet been paired with a Bluetooth® device, they will say "Please pair to your device".
  3. Open the Bluetooth settings on your mobile device and scan for available Bluetooth connections. Locate and select the MP42010 entry. If prompted for a passcode, enter 0000 (four zeros).
  4. Once the connection is established, the earphones will say "Connected".

Note: If the earphones have already been paired with a device and that device is in range, steps 2-3 above will be skipped.

OPERATION

Power

Remove the earphones from the charging case to power them on. Insert the earphones into the charging case to power them off.

Note: If the earphones are not able to establish or maintain a connection for 5 minutes, they will automatically power off. To power them back on, insert them into the charging case, then remove them.

Playback Control

Double tap either earphone to play or pause audio playback. The earphones have no other playback controls, so use your connected device to adjust the volume level and to skip tracks.

Phone Calls

Double tap either earphone when an incoming call is received to answer the call. When the call is complete, double tap either earphone to hang up.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If you experience any interconnectivity issues between the earphones or Bluetooth® pairing/connectivity issues, the simple solution is to insert the earphones into the charging case and close the lid. Wait at least 15 seconds, then open the lid and remove the earphones.
