Refer to the specific tables in the original document for the exact part codes and quantities for your pool model.
Structure & Assembly Overview
Before assembly, inspect all pool components and familiarize yourself with their designated positions. The manual includes diagrams illustrating how the various frame components (labeled A, B, C, D, E, F, H) connect to form the rectangular pool structure for different sizes.
These diagrams show the arrangement of horizontal and vertical support beams, and how they interlock to create the stable frame. For instance, smaller pools might use fewer components, while larger pools (e.g., 9.56 m x 4.88 m x 1.32 m) require a greater number of side tubes and U-shaped supports to achieve their larger dimensions.
Installation Steps
No additional tools are required for setting up the frame pool.
Note: The following steps are crucial for pool installation. Follow the instructions carefully.
- Remove all components and check against the parts list to ensure all items are present and correct. If any parts are missing, stop assembly and contact Bestway customer service for assistance.
- Unfold the pool liner with the top side facing up. Place the pool in direct sunlight for 1 hour to allow the material to soften, making assembly easier.
- Install the pool near a well-functioning drainage system to manage any overflow water.
Warning: Do not use the filter pump while people are in the pool.
Note: Do not use portable power strips (extension cords) to power the filter pump. This prevents short circuits caused by water overflow.
Assembly involves connecting the frame pieces as shown in the structural diagrams. Once the frame is assembled and the liner is in place, proceed to water filling.
Corner Valve Installation
For pools equipped with a corner valve, follow the instructions provided in the manual (refer to Figure 6 in the original document for visual guidance). This typically involves screwing the valve components together securely.
Note: If you intend to connect other cleaning equipment via the corner valve, remove the filter screen from the connector first (refer to Figure 7 in the original document).
Pool Water Filling
Note: Do not leave the pool unattended during filling.
- Fill the pool to approximately 90% of its capacity. Do not overfill, as heavy rain may require some water to be removed to maintain the appropriate level (refer to Figure 8 in the original document).
- Once filling is complete, check if the pool is leaning to one side to determine if it is level (refer to Figure 9 in the original document for correct water level and Figure 10 for levelness check).
Important: If the pool is not level, drain the water first and re-level the ground. Do not move the pool when it is filled with water, as this can cause injury to people and damage to the pool.
Warning: The pool can hold a significant volume and weight of water. Unevenness can cause excessive pressure on one side, leading to rupture and water spillage, which can result in personal injury and property damage.
3. Before adding any chemicals, check for leaks at the seams or valve connections and inspect the ground cloth for any obvious water stains.
Note: If a leak is found, repair it using the provided heavy-duty repair patch. For more information, consult the FAQ section.
Pool Maintenance
Failure to maintain the pool according to these requirements can pose health risks, especially for children.
Using Chemical Tablets (Not Included)
Note: When adding chemical tablets to the pool, always use a dispenser or floating device. If your pool set does not include a dispenser, you can purchase one from www.bestwaycorp.com or a retailer.
Important Reminder: Do not use granular chemicals or throw tablets directly into the pool. Chemical agents can corrode the pool bottom, damaging the pool material and causing it to fade.
Using Liquid Chemicals (Not Included)
Important Reminder: Add small amounts of liquid chemicals to the center of the pool. Avoid direct contact between the liquid and the pool material to prevent damage or fading of the liner.
Note: Remove the chemical dispenser from the pool when it is in use.
