Device Overview

This device is a Particle Mass Concentration Detector, capable of measuring PM2.5 and PM10 levels. The display shows current readings for PM2.5 (e.g., 26 µg/m³), PM10 (e.g., 65 µg/m³), temperature (e.g., 26.6°C), and humidity (e.g., 32.5%RH). Control buttons include SET, ENTER ([power button]), and MEM.

Important Note: Please read this manual before switching the unit on. Important safety information is included inside.

1-Description

This device is an air quality detector featuring intelligent induction and cloud data storage. It can detect PM2.5, PM10, CO2, HCHO, TVOC, temperature, and humidity. Utilizing a laser scattering weight test method with a professional structure design, fan, and particle sensor, it sensitively and precisely detects and monitors PM2.5 and PM10, helping users understand indoor air quality and take steps to improve it. A professional CO2 sensor provides reminders to open windows when CO2 concentration is too high. HCHO detection identifies formaldehyde, and TVOC detection identifies indoor harmful gases, aiding in understanding environmental pollution. The device employs a reliable power supply circuit to ensure precise and stable measurements and extended operating time when detecting multiple parameters simultaneously. An optional WiFi module enhances intelligence, enabling cloud data storage and remote viewing/control via a mobile phone. A noise detection module is equipped, allowing the device to be awakened from sleep mode by generating a slight noise.

4-Function

1-Machine Function & 2-Key Function

The device features multiple sensors and control keys. The front panel includes SET, Set/Up Key, ON/OFF/ENTER Key ([power button]), and Memory/Down Key. Sensors include CO2 Sensor and PM2.5 Sensor. The rear panel houses the WiFi Module, Noise Detect Sensor, USB port, and Temperature & Humidity Sensor.

The screen displays real-time measurements including PM2.5, PM10, temperature, and humidity.

Key Functions and Operation

Button Functions

5-Power ON/OFF

To power on, in shutdown mode, long press the ON/OFF/ENTER key until the screen lights up. To power off, in startup mode, long press the ON/OFF/ENTER key until the screen turns off.

6-Measure

After startup, the device continuously measures PM2.5, PM10, CO2, TVOC, HCHO, temperature, and humidity. The screen refreshes and cycles through displays of PM10, CO2, TVOC, and HCHO every 15 seconds. Users can manually switch the display by short-pressing the ON/OFF/ENTER key.

Warm-up Times: PM2.5, PM10, and CO2 require 3-5 seconds. TVOC requires 40 seconds. During warm-up, displayed data may be from the previous measurement. The device features six alarm levels indicated by color changes on the analog bar and measurement values. Alarms are based on real-time data. If WiFi is enabled, alarm information can be pushed to a mobile phone.

7-Shutdown, Sleep and Awaken

7-1. Shutdown/Sleep

The device can be set to auto power off or auto sleep to conserve power during periods of inactivity. Models 1/2/3 can be set for auto power off. Devices with WiFi can enter auto sleep mode, where the screen turns off but the device continues uploading measurement data.

7-2. Awaken by Key

Models 1/2/3 can be awakened from shutdown status by a long press of the ON/OFF/ENTER key. Devices with WiFi can be awakened from sleep status by a short press of any key.

7-3. Awaken by Noise

Noise can also awaken the device; for example, striking the table can transition the device from sleep status to measure status. Models 1/2/3 can awake by noise within 30 minutes after shutdown. Devices with WiFi can awake by noise when in sleep mode.

Measurement Progression Examples

The device screen dynamically displays readings. Examples of how measurements and air quality indicators change are shown:

These examples illustrate how readings and associated air quality indicators (like 'bad') change, often accompanied by color shifts on the device display.

8-Memory

The device can record up to 5000 groups of historical data, including PM2.5, PM10, and the recording time.

Accessing Memory

Memory Display

The memory page dynamically displays the latest measurement data curve. Each curve represents eight data points. A bright spot indicates a specific measurement data point, a dark spot signifies a connection (potentially indicating a gap or transition), and a dot represents the current data point. The graph typically shows PM2.5 and PM10 concentrations over time, with axes for concentration (µg/m³) and time.

9-Settings

Navigate the settings menu by long-pressing the SET/Up key from the measure page. Within settings, use Up/Down keys to select an item and ON/OFF/ENTER key to enter submenus or confirm selections. Short-press ON/OFF/ENTER to exit submenus and return to the main settings menu.

9-1. Time Settings

Users can configure the time settings, including 12-hour or 24-hour format, AM/PM, date (Year, Month, Day), and time (Hour, Minute). Short-press Up/Down to change values and ON/OFF/ENTER to confirm.

9-2. Measure Mode Settings (WiFi Model Enabled)

The device offers two measurement modes:

Regular Measure mode is the default setting.

9-3. Auto Power Off/Auto Sleep Settings

Configure auto power off or auto sleep timers, adjustable from 10 to 120 minutes, or disable these features entirely. WiFi-enabled devices can set specific auto power off times in regular measure mode or auto sleep times in monitor measure mode.

Settings (Continued)

9-4. Unit Settings

Select the desired unit for temperature measurement: Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F). Celsius is the default setting.

9-5. Alarm Settings

Configure the PM2.5 alarm threshold. Options include 10ppm, 35ppm, 75ppm, 150ppm, 200ppm, or no alarm. The default threshold is 35ppm. When the PM2.5 concentration exceeds the set point, the device will beep. WiFi-enabled devices can push alarm notifications to a mobile phone.

9-6. Brightness Settings

Adjust the screen brightness. There are 5 levels of brightness available.

9-7. Noise Sensor Settings

Enable or disable the noise sensor. When enabled, the device can be awakened from shutdown or sleep status by detecting noise.

9-8. Language Settings

Choose the display language for the device. Options include English and Chinese. English is the default language.

9-10. About Software

Access device information such as IMEI number, software version, and MAC address.

10-WiFi

10-1. First Connect

On first use, a flashing WiFi symbol appears in the top right corner of the measure page, indicating readiness to connect. Ensure your mobile phone is connected to WiFi. Use the mobile APP to input the current WiFi password and initiate broadcasting. The device will connect to WiFi after receiving the password, and the WiFi symbol will stop flashing. A steady WiFi symbol indicates successful connection to the server, with measure data being uploaded. The mobile phone can then access real-time and historical data, and control the device.

10-2. Has Connected WiFi

If the device has previously connected to WiFi, it will automatically reconnect upon startup without requiring manual intervention via the mobile phone. The mobile phone can remotely check the device's status (e.g., measuring, sleeping, or powered off).

10-3. Reconnect WiFi

If the WiFi password changes or a different WiFi network is to be used, reset the WiFi connection in the settings page and use the mobile phone's APP to reconnect. The reconnection process is the same as the first connection.

10-4. WiFi Function

Once connected to WiFi, the device can be linked to and remotely monitored by the mobile phone's APP. In monitor measuring mode, the device will not auto power off but will auto sleep, continuously uploading data to the server. The device can be awakened by the mobile phone's APP, a key press, or the noise sensor.
