Assembly Steps

For space-saving packing reasons, the linishing arm must be installed by the customer. Please follow the instructions given below:

1. Put the pre-assembled linishing arm (parts 1-17) onto the motor and tighten.
2. Place the narrow reducing bush (27), the cup wheel (18), and the wide reducing bush (28) onto the motor shaft. Secure these parts to the motor shaft using a hexagon nut M 12.
3. Screw the ball knob with threaded bolt (24) into the bracket (5).
4. Attach the star knob screw (22) with the thin type knurled thumb nut M 8 (23). Note: Do not fully tighten the knurled thumb nut at this stage.
5. Ensure the correct running direction of the sanding belt (25) is observed. Arrows on the inside of the belt indicate the direction.
6. Push in the ball knob (24) to reduce the distance between the axes. This allows the sanding belt (25) to be fitted onto the two wheels (9 and 18).
7. Adjust the height of the tool support (15) to align with the sanding belt (25) and secure it in position.
8. Turn the star knob screw (22) while simultaneously moving the sanding belt (25) by hand. This aligns the sanding belt until it runs straight on the wheels.
9. Final alignment is achieved by switching on the machine and readjusting using the star knob screw (22).
10. Once the sanding belt (25) runs straight on the wheels without wandering, fully tighten the thin type knurled thumb nut (23).
11. To install the wheel cover (26), remove the 5 screws from the support (15), place the wheel cover in position, and fasten it with the 5 screws.
