Tips for Best Results
- The Knife Sharpener is not suitable for sharpening serrated blades.
- Always handle knives with extreme care. Use a slow and steady motion.
- Repeat the sharpening process 3-4 times on both sides for the best result.
- If the knife being sharpened has a high carbon content, sparks may appear when the blade contacts the grinding wheel; this is normal.
- A vibrating sound may occur due to the speed of the grinding discs.
- Do not run the sharpener for more than 3 minutes at a time. Allow 15-20 minutes cooling time between uses.
- Avoid touching sharpened edges. Test the sharpness with a piece of paper; a blunt edge will tear the paper.
- Clean knives thoroughly after sharpening to remove metal filings.
- Always store sharpened tools safely and out of reach of children.
