Connection

Swap Switch Step
How to Replace Switches?
The keyboard switches are hot-swappable and compatible with most 3-pin & 5-pin mechanical switches on the market. Extra switches are not included in the package.

Step 01: Remove the keycaps with the keycap puller.
Illustration: A keycap puller is used to detach a keycap from the keyboard.

Step 02: Remove the switches with the switch puller.
Illustration: A switch puller is used to extract a mechanical switch from its socket on the PCB.

Step 03: Line up the switch pins with the PCB socket.
Illustration: The pins of a new switch are carefully aligned with the corresponding sockets on the keyboard's PCB.

Step 04: Place the switch on the PCB and integrate it closely.
Illustration: The switch is positioned over the PCB sockets, ready for insertion.

Step 05: Gently press the switch into place.
Illustration: Downward pressure is applied to the switch to secure it into the PCB socket.

Step 06: Put the keycaps back on to the keyboard and test it.
Illustration: A keycap is placed back onto the newly installed switch, and the keyboard is ready for testing.
