Overview
The iShare X is Infobit's brand-new wireless conference product designed to meet the requirements of today's hybrid workforce. It facilitates not only local presentation but also collaboration with remote participants. The system enables users to wirelessly connect room cameras, microphones, speakers, and displays to their own laptops, allowing them to leverage the room's A/V system for collaboration with both in-room and remote meeting participants, free from cable limitations and hassle.

iShare HX, iShare CX:
- Can wirelessly transmit PC's mirror or extended desktop to the base unit.
- Features a quick "Show-me" button to switch the active PC signal in less than 1 second.
- The "Show-me" button can independently step in/out of the PC source.
- Equipped with a dual-color LED: green indicates active source signal, red indicates power/link.
- BYOM support: Enables USB devices such as USB speakerphones and USB cameras over Wi-Fi sharing.

Panel Layout
iShare X400 Front Panel
The iShare X400 front panel features three main connection points and indicators:
1. Front USB A connector: A USB Type-A port for dongle pairing, mouse control, and USB touch screen connectivity.
2. Front Type-C connector: A USB Type-C port primarily for dongle pairing.
3. Power Button: Used to turn the device on or off.
Note: The front USB A port and Type-C port cannot be used simultaneously; the Type-C port has priority over the USB A port.
USB A port functions:
- Used to update the software of the iShare X400.
- Used for pairing the dongle and base unit when the transmitter is plugged in.
- Used for connecting a mouse to create/upgrade Launcher by clicking the 'Download' button, hide SSID, Password, Wifi IP, and Lan IP by clicking 'Info', check the 'Security level' button, and control the PC source device when a PC desktop is mirroring to the screen by plugging in the dongle.
- Used for connecting a USB-based touch screen to create/upgrade Launcher by clicking 'Download' button, hide SSID, PASS, Wifi IP, and Lan IP by clicking 'Info', check 'Security level' button, and control PC source device when a PC desktop is mirroring to the screen by plugging in the dongle.
- Used for creating or upgrading Launcher by clicking 'Download' button when a USB stick is plugged in.
Type-C port functions:
- The Type-C port is used for pairing a Type C dongle with the base unit.
Mechanical fixture points are located at the bottom of the base unit.
iShare X400 Rear Panel
The iShare X400 rear panel provides a comprehensive set of connectivity options:
1. Line audio output: 2 channel analog audio output via a 3.5mm mini-jack PC connector.
2. RS-232: For connecting an RS-232 cable to a control device.
3. Rear Type-C connector: A Type-C port for Type C dongle pairing.
4. Rear USB3.0 connector: A USB Type-A port for HDMI dongle pairing, mouse control, USB touch screen, and connecting USB devices like cameras and speakerphones.
5. Reset: A button to restore the device to factory default settings.
6. HDMI output: Connects to an HD or 4K/HDMI2.0 display.
7. LAN Ethernet port 1 (100Mbps): Connects to a LAN via an Ethernet cable.
8. LAN Ethernet port 2 (1,000Mbps): Connects to a LAN and supports PoE.
9. DC Power socket: For connecting the included power adapter.
10. Antenna fixture points: For screwing in the three included antennas.
USB port functions (Rear):
- Used to update the software of the iShare X400.
- Used for pairing the dongle and base unit when the transmitter is plugged in.

Dongles (iShare HX, iShare CX)
The iShare HX and iShare CX are dongles used for toggling the mirroring of a personal PC or MAC desktop onto the main screen.
LED Ring Indicator Behavior
- Static Green: Ready to mirror your PC desktop on the main screen.
- Static Red: 1) Mirroring your PC desktop on the screen. 2) Pairing is complete; you can now unplug the button from the base unit.
- Blinking Green: 1) The button is plugged into the laptop and initializing or waiting for the iShare X application to start. 2) Pairing/software upgrading of the button in the Base Unit is in progress.
- Off (no light): 1) The button is not plugged into the PC/laptop. 2) The button is defective. 3) The USB port or computer might be defective.
iShare HX Dongle
The iShare HX dongle features:
1. HDMI connector: Plugs into a PC/laptop for sharing your screen.
2. USB connector: Supplies power or plugs into the base unit for pairing the button or upgrading the dongle.
3. Touching Button: Touch to start displaying PC/laptop content on the main screen; touch during a meeting to toggle screen sharing.
4. LED ring indicator: Indicates the status of the button.
iShare CX Dongle
The iShare CX dongle features:
1. Type C (DP) connector: Uses the Type C (DP) connector to plug into a PC/laptop for sharing your screen.
2. Touching Button: Touch to start displaying PC/laptop content on the main screen; touch during a meeting to toggle screen sharing.
3. LED ring indicator: Indicates the status of the button.
Note: iShare CX is a full-function Type-C interface with DP Alt mode, supporting Audio and video transmission. Therefore, the PC's Type-C connector must also support full function for mirroring.
Home Screen
The iShare X Home Screen displays system information and access points for various sharing methods:
- System Info: ID: iShareX, PASS: 00005212, Time: 02:37.
- BYOD Screensharing: Options for Windows/Mac (plug dongle into PC), Android (scan QR code to download app), and iOS/iPadOS (use screen mirroring from control center).
- BYOM Conferencing: Options to select cameras, microphones, and speakers.
- Network Info: Wifi IP: 192.168.43.1, Lan IP: 192.168.31.211/N/A.
- Navigation arrows ('>') allow access to further options.

Wiring Diagram
The wiring diagram illustrates the connectivity for a typical meeting room setup:
BYOM/BYOD Devices: iOS, Android, macOS, Windows devices connect wirelessly. A USB Mouse is also shown.
Audio/Video Peripherals: An iSound PA20 Amplifier and an iCam VB50 Camera videobar are connected.
Display: A Meeting Room Display is connected via HDMI.
Base Unit: The Infobit iShare X400 is the central hub, connecting to the display via HDMI, peripherals via USB, and to the network via two LAN ports.
Network Connections: Two LAN ports are shown: LAN 1 (Guest) and LAN 2 (Company), both connecting to a Network switch.
