Rat Zapper Ultra Electronic Rat Trap Instructions
How to Use
- Place a small amount of bait such as peanut butter on the back wall of the unit, away from the metal plates on the floor of the trap. Use a cotton swab, toothpick, or another tool to bait the trap to avoid transferring your scent.
- Remove the battery cover. Insert 4 new "D" batteries and replace the battery cover.
- Place the trap on a flat surface against a wall where rodent activity has been observed. Position the trap lengthwise with the entrance nearest to the wall.
- Turn the main switch ON. A green light will blink once, indicating that the batteries are good and the trap is operational.
- When a rodent is caught, the red light will flash once every 7 seconds. To dispose of the rodent, turn the unit OFF, remove the batteries, and dispose of the rodent. Bait the trap, insert the batteries, and turn the main switch ON. A rapid red flash indicates that the batteries no longer have sufficient power to kill a rodent. Replace with 4 new batteries. The old batteries can still be used for other products that require "D" batteries.
