DocumentDocumentDISCONTINUED INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS For VC/VW & BBD, LRM4, LRM6, LRM8 Install from Below IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS This fixture must be installed in accordance with local, federal codes and the NEC. 1. Read all instructions completely before beginning. Keep these instructions in safe place for future reference. 2. To reduce risk of fire and over-heating, make sure all connections are tight. 3. Turn off the electrical power before proceeding. Installing the LRM Remodel series fixtures: IF REPLACING AN EXISTING FIXTURE: Before installing new fixture, remove existing fixture from ceiling by pushing fixture up through ceiling cut-out into plenum, orientate fixture to provide access to power supply and remove from fixture. Proceed to Step. Step : Locate center of proposed opening on ceiling and using template (supplied with fixture) mark and accurately cut opening. Step : Install housing ring by sliding into appropriately sized hole. Step : With housing ring in place, push clips (3) up and out until locked in place, securing housing ring snuggly against the ceiling. Step : Pull power supply thru opening. Electrical service must meet your local electrical code and supply wire insulation must be rated for at least 90° C. Step : Wiring: Remove junction box cover and the appropriate knock-out(s) and connect conduit to junction box with proper connector (not supplied). Connect black fixture wire to hot, white fixture wire to neutral and green wire to ground (make sure all connections are tight). Refer to wiring diagrams on following page to ensure proper wiring. DISCONTINUED Step : 4 Unit: Attach junction box to threaded stud using wing nut, securing assembly to housing ring. 6 and 8 Unit: Attach junction box to bracket using two (2) screws, securing assembly to housing ring (as shown). Step : Push LED housing thru housing ring. Step : Align slotted holes (3) of housing with screw holes on housing ring and secure with 3 screws (supplied).
