This laser product is certified as a CLASS 3R laser product and adheres to the requirements of the US Federal Laser Product Performance Standard (FLPPS) contained in 21 CFR Subchapter J.

Avoid direct eye contact of CLASS 3R laser energy as it can be hazardous. This product uses diffractive optics to scatter the beam energy, reducing energy concentration for momentary or accidental viewing at a short distance. As with all bright light sources, restrict up-close access in unsupervised general public areas.

The device incorporates a protective housing and diffractive holographic optics, preventing exposure or human access to laser radiation above CLASS 3R limits. Each laser beamlet's power is under 1 mW.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES shall attempts be made to open the protective housing or operate the device if the aperture window is damaged. All service requiring opening the housing must be performed by authorized personnel. Opening the housing voids the warranty.

Airport Safety: Do not point lasers into the sky within 10 nautical miles (18.5 km) of an airport. If located within this perimeter, point lasers down at the ground to avoid stray beams. Check local airport or provincial guidelines for further information.

Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the BlissLights StarPort™ Laser USB. This unique indoor light fixture uses patented laser and holographic technology to project thousands of pinpoints of light from a compact USB-powered housing. It is designed to create immersive lighting experiences, such as simulating a starry sky or enhancing home entertainment.

Each unit provides up to 30 x 30 ft of coverage, uses less than 10 Watts of power, and operates in temperatures between 32°F to 104°F (0°C to 40°C).

Before You Begin

Upon receiving the fixture, carefully unpack and check the carton contents to ensure all parts are present and in good condition. Notify the retailer immediately if any parts appear damaged from shipping or if the carton shows signs of mishandling. Retain all packing material for inspection. The original factory box is important for returns.

Setting Up the Laser Projector

Before operating, please read the "Before you Begin" and "Notice" sections of this user's guide.

1. Connect the StarPort™ into the flexible extender if desired.
2. Insert the StarPort™ into a powered USB port, outlet, or battery pack.

Installation Tips

For a brighter projection, use the device in a darker display area. Avoid areas with strong ambient light sources, such as bright fluorescent lights.

1-Year Limited Warranty

BlissLights LLC warrants the original retail purchaser that the Product will be free of defects in material and workmanship for ONE (1) YEAR from the date of original retail purchase. An "original retail purchaser" is an individual or entity purchasing directly from BlissLights or an Authorized Reseller for personal consumer use.

This Limited Warranty is not transferable or assignable. Purchases from unauthorized sources are "AS-IS" and void this warranty.

The Limited Warranty does not cover:

• Alteration, modification, or damage to the Product.
• Normal wear and tear, rust, abuse, improper maintenance, installation, storage, or use.
• Cosmetic finish or weathering.
• Damage due to accident, misuse, abuse, negligence, or failures unrelated to material or workmanship defects.

To make a warranty claim, return the Product with a written description of the defect and proof of purchase to BlissLights LLC, 1224 Exposition Way, Suite #130, San Diego, CA 92154, postage prepaid. BlissLights will, within 30 days of receipt, repair, replace, or refund the purchase price if the product is determined to be defective. Return postage will be reimbursed for defective products. For non-defective returns, BlissLights may charge handling costs. Failure to comply with these conditions invalidates the warranty.

This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied. BlissLights disclaims all other warranties, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

Remedies are limited to repair, replacement, or refund. BlissLights is not liable for special, indirect, incidental, consequential, or exemplary damages. Aggregate liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.

Some jurisdictions may not allow certain limitations; these shall apply to the maximum extent permitted by law. Invalid terms will be severed without affecting the rest of the warranty.

This Limited Warranty is effective for products purchased on or after June 30, 2018. BlissLights reserves the right to modify this warranty.

Safety and Care

Caution

This is not a toy. Young children must be supervised while using this device. The unit is not waterproof; use and store indoors or in a dry place.

Cleaning Instructions

Surface clean only with a soft, dry cloth. Unplug the unit before cleaning.

Disposal

At the end of its serviceable life, this product should not be treated as household or general waste. It should be handed over to the applicable collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment.
