  • Turn off the power supply and unplug when not in use or if the instrument breaks.
  • To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose the instrument to rain or humidity.
  • Do not expose the instrument to dripping or splashing liquids. Do not place liquid-filled objects on the instrument.

Product Assembly

Assemble the stand and attach the keyboard and music stand.

Refer to the diagram for assembly steps, connecting parts A, B, C, D, E, F, and G using the provided hardware.

Rear Panel Connections

The rear panel features the following ports:

  • UDISK: For USB flash drive input.
  • MIC: For microphone connection.
  • PHONES/OUTPUT: For connecting headphones or external audio devices.
  • DC 9V: For power adapter input.

Note: Upon powering on, the keyboard defaults to timbre 000, rhythm 000, and a tempo of 120 BPM.

Digital Display:

The screen displays the current tempo. Press "START/STOP" to play the selected rhythm. Use "TEMPO +" or "TEMPO -" to adjust the tempo.

Performance Preparation

Battery Installation:

Open the battery cover on the back and install six AA batteries with correct polarity. Replace the cover. Empty batteries should be replaced immediately. Remove batteries if the keyboard is unused for an extended period.

Using Power Adaptor:

Use only the supplied power adapter. Connect it to the back-panel power socket and then to an outlet. Ensure the input voltage is compatible.

Audio Output / Headphone Jack:

Connect external audio devices, speakers, or headphones to the "PHONES/OUTPUT" port. The internal speakers will automatically turn off when headphones are plugged in. ⚠️ Hearing loss can occur if headphones are used at too high a volume.

Mic Input:

Connect a microphone to the "MIC" port.

Playing Music from External Device:

Insert a USB flash drive (up to 32GB) into the "UDISK" port. Use the controls (previous track), (next track), ▶️ (play/pause), ⏹️ (stop) to manage playback. Use ? to cycle through playback modes (continuous, random, single).

Basic Performing Method

Power On/Off:

Press the "POWER ON/OFF" button. The LED display will show the preset tempo of "120."

Master Volume Adjustment:

Use "MASTER VOL +" or "MASTER VOL -" to adjust the overall volume. Pressing both simultaneously resets the volume to default. This also controls accompaniment volume.

Accompaniment Volume Adjustment:

Use "ACCOM VOL +" or "ACCOM VOL -" to adjust the accompaniment volume. Pressing both simultaneously resets it to default.

Timbre Selection:

The keyboard has 255 pre-programmed timbres (000-254). Press the "TIMBRE" button, then use the number buttons or "+/- " to select a timbre.

Effect Quick Select:

Press the "EFFECT" button to cycle through five timbre effects: Normal, Pop, Rock, Jazz, and Classic.

Playing Percussion:

Press "PERCUSSION" to change the keyboard to a percussive instrument. Press again to stop.

Playing Demonstration Songs:

The keyboard features 24 pre-programmed songs (d00-d23). Press "DEMO SONG" to play all songs sequentially. Press again to stop. Use number buttons or "+/- " to select a specific demo song. Press "START/STOP" or "DEMO SONG" to stop playback.

Auto Rhythm

Rhythm Selection:

The keyboard offers 255 rhythms (000-254). Press the "RHYTHM" button, then use number buttons or "+/- " to select.

Rhythm Control:

Press "START/STOP" to play the selected rhythm. Press "SYNC" to activate sync mode, where the first 19 keys act as a chord keyboard. Press "FILL IN" for an intermezzo. Hold "FILL IN" to continue the melody. Press "START/STOP" to stop the rhythm.

Metronome:

The metronome supports four tempos (1/4, 2/4, 3/4, 4/4). Press the "Metronome" button to cycle through tempos or stop it.

Tempo Adjustment:

Use "TEMPO +" or "TEMPO -" to adjust tempo. Pressing both simultaneously resets tempo to default.

Auto Bass Chord

Single Chord:

While a rhythm is active, press "SINGLE." Play a single chord using the first 19 keys of the chord keyboard. Press "SINGLE" again to disable.

Chord Diagrams (Single Chord):

The following diagrams illustrate chord fingerings for Major, Minor, 7th, and Minor 7th chords across various keys (C, C#, D, D#, E, F, F#, G, G#, A, A#, B).

Fingered Chord:

While a rhythm is active, press "FINGERED." Play fingered chords using the chord keyboard. Press "FINGERED" again to disable.

Fingered Chord Fingering (C Key):

The following diagrams show fingered chord fingerings for the key of C. Transpose these for other keys.

Major Chords: C, C6, CM7, CM(9), Caug

Minor Chords: Cm, Cm6, Cm7, Cm7(b5), Cm(9), CmM7, CmM7(9)

Other Chords: Cdim, Cdim7, C7, C7(b5), Csus4, C1+2+5

Effect Control

Transposing Function:

Transpose notes on the chord keyboard (first 19 keys) to play different scales. Use "Transpose +" and "Transpose -" to shift notes up or down by a half step.

Sustain Function:

Press the "SUSTAIN" button to activate sustain. "SUS" will display. Press again to disable.

Vibrato Function:

Press the "VIBRATO" button to activate vibrato. "VIB" will display. Press again to disable.

Recording, Rhythm Programming & Teaching

Recording:

Press "REC" to start recording. "REC" will display. Press "REC" again or "START/STOP" to end and clear recording. Press "PLAY" to playback recorded notes. "PLAY" will display during playback.

Rhythm Programming:

Press "PROG" to start programming. "PRG" will display. Up to 32 percussive rhythms can be programmed. Press "PLAY" to playback programmed rhythms. Press "START/STOP" or "PROG" to disable and clear.

Three-Step Intelligent Teaching:

  • ONE KEY: Enables a teaching mode where the keyboard plays notes, and you follow. Mistakes do not stop playback. Press "START/STOP" or "ONE KEY" to exit.
  • FOLLOW: Similar to "ONE KEY," but the keyboard waits for correct notes before proceeding. Press "START/STOP" or "FOLLOW" to exit.
  • ENSEMBLE: Enables ensemble teaching. The keyboard waits 3 seconds for you to play correct notes. Press "START/STOP" or "ENSEMBLE" to exit.

Timbres

The keyboard features a wide selection of 255 pre-programmed timbres, categorized by instrument type such as pianos, organs, strings, brass, woodwinds, and more.

Rhythms

Explore 255 built-in rhythms covering various genres like Disco, Rock, Pop, Jazz, Latin, Classical, Country, and more, with options for different styles and tempos.

Demonstration Song List

The keyboard includes 24 pre-programmed demonstration songs for listening and learning. Titles range from "Picnic" and "Danny Boy" to "Skip to my Lou" and "Row, Row, Row Your Boat."

Warnings Regarding Batteries

  • Do not mix battery types (alkaline, carbon zinc, nickel hydride) or old and new batteries.
  • Non-rechargeable batteries should not be charged.
  • Rechargeable batteries require adult supervision for charging.
  • Remove exhausted batteries promptly.
  • Do not short-circuit supply terminals.
  • Keep batteries away from heat sources.
  • Do not hit batteries against hard objects.
  • Do not submerge batteries in water.
  • Ensure batteries are inserted with the correct polarity.

Items can be returned within 60 days of receipt for a full refund, provided they are in original packaging with all accessories. A Return Authorization (RA) number is required, obtained from a Customer Service Representative. Refunds or replacements are processed within 5 business days of receipt. Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility unless the return is due to Best Choice Products' error. Pictures may be required for returns to verify item condition.
