7.1 Important Notice

7.2 Introduction of Display
Model: DP C07.CAN BUS
The housing material is PC and Acrylic, and the button material is made of silicone.
The label marking includes:
- BAFANG
- DPC07CL10101.0
- PD051305
Note: Keep the QR code label attached to the display cable for potential future software updates.
7.3 Product Description
7.3.1 Specifications

7.3.2 Functional Overview

7.4 Display Layout
The display shows:
- Battery capacity in real time.
- Kilometer stand (TRIP), Daily kilometers (TRIP) - Total kilometers (TOTAL).
- Symbol indicating if the light is on.
- Walking assistance (WALK).
- Service: refer to the service section.
- Menu button.
- Speed unit (km/h or mile/h).
- Digital speed display.
- Speed mode (SPEED), top speed (MAXS) - Average speed (AVG).
- Error indicator.
- Data display corresponding to the current mode.
- Support level.
7.5 Key Definition
The control buttons are:
- Up: Navigates up or increases value.
- Down: Navigates down or decreases value.
- + Button: Increases value or selects support level.
- i Button: Menu, OK/Enter, or confirms selection.
- Light On/Off Button: Toggles headlights and display backlight.
- System On/Off Button: Turns the system on or off.
7.6 Normal Operation
7.6.1 Switching the System ON/OFF
Press and hold the [i] button for more than 2 seconds to turn the system on. Press and hold the [i] button again for more than 2 seconds to turn the system off.
The display can automatically turn off if the "Auto Off" function is set to 5 minutes and the system is not in operation.
7.6.2 Selection of Support Levels
When the display is on, briefly press the [+] or [-] button (<0.5s) to switch support levels from 1 (lowest) to 5 (highest). The system starts at level 1.
7.6.3 Selection mode
Briefly press the [i] button (<0.5s) to cycle through trip modes: TRIP (daily kilometers), TOTAL (total kilometers), MAXS (maximum speed), AVG (average speed), RANGE (remaining distance), Output power (W), and Energy consumption (C, requires torque sensor).
7.6.4 Headlights / backlighting
Hold the [i] button for over 2 seconds to turn on the headlight and display backlight. Hold it again for over 2 seconds to turn them off.
Backlight brightness can be adjusted in the display settings. The display backlight/headlight may automatically turn on in dark environments. If manually turned off, the automatic sensor function is deactivated.
7.6.5 Walk Assistance
Walk assistance can only be activated with a standing pedelec.
Activation: Briefly press the [i] button until level null is shown, then press the [i] button again (<0.5s). The WALK symbol will appear. Hold down the [i] button to activate Walk Assistance. The pedelec will move at approximately 4.5 km/h. Releasing the button stops the motor and returns to level null. If no speed signal is detected, it shows 2.5km/h.
7.6.6 Battery capacity indication
Battery capacity is shown in ten bars. Each full bar represents a percentage of remaining capacity. A blinking frame indicates the battery needs charging.

7.7 Settings
After turning on the display, quickly press the [i] button twice (<0.3S) to enter the “MENU” interface. Use the [+] or [-] buttons to select and reset options. Press the [i] button twice (<0.3S) to confirm and return to the main screen. The display returns to the main screen after 10 seconds of inactivity without saving.
7.7.1 Setting
7.7.1.1 Reset mileage
When the system is on, quickly press the [i] button twice (<0.3S) to access the “MENU” interface. The display shows “tC”. Use the [+] or [-] buttons to choose between “y” (YES) or “n” (NO). Selecting “y” resets TRIP, MAX, and AVG data. Press the [i] button twice (<0.3S) to save and return to the main screen, or once to proceed to “Selection of unit in km/Miles”.
NOTE: Daily kilometers reset automatically if they reach 99999km.
7.7.1.2 Selection of unit in km/Miles
In the “MENU” interface, repeatedly press the [i] button until “S7” appears. Use the [+] or [-] buttons to select “km/h” or “mile/h”. Press the [i] button twice (<0.3S) to save and return to the main screen, or once to proceed to “Set light sensitivity”.
7.7.1.3 Set light sensitivity
In the “MENU” interface, repeatedly press the [i] button until “bLO” appears. Use the [+] or [-] buttons to adjust light sensitivity from 0 to 5. “0” turns off the light sensitivity. Press the [i] button twice (<0.3S) to save and return to the main screen, or once to proceed to “Set display brightness”.
7.7.1.4 Set display brightness
In the “MENU” interface, repeatedly press the [i] button until “bL1” appears. Use the [+] or [-] buttons to adjust brightness from 1 to 5. Press the [i] button twice (<0.3S) to save and return to the main screen, or once to proceed to “Set Auto Off”.
7.7.1.5 Set Auto Off
In the “MENU” interface, repeatedly press the [i] button until “OFF” appears. Use the [+] or [-] buttons to set the auto-off time from 1 to 9 minutes. Press the [i] button twice (<0.3S) to save and return to the main screen, or once to proceed to “Service Tip”.
7.7.1.6 Service Tip
In the “MENU” interface, repeatedly press the [i] button until “nnA” appears. Use the [+] or [-] buttons to choose between “0” (notification off) or “1” (notification on). Press the [i] button twice (<0.3S) to save and return to the main screen.
NOTE: If the "Service" function is on, the "SERVICE" indicator displays every time at switch on, after every 5000 km.
7.7.2 View Information
All data in this section can only be viewed, not changed.
7.7.2.1 Wheel Size
In the “MENU” interface, repeatedly press the [i] button until “LUd” appears. Press the [i] button twice (<0.3S) to return to the main screen, or once to proceed to “Speed Limit”.
7.7.2.2 Speed Limit
In the “MENU” interface, repeatedly press the [i] button until “SPL” appears. Press the [i] button twice (<0.3S) to return to the main screen, or once to proceed to “Controller hardware info”.
7.7.2.3 Controller hardware info
In the “MENU” interface, repeatedly press the [i] button until “CHc” appears. Press the [i] button twice (<0.3S) to return to the main screen, or once to proceed to “Controller software info”.
7.7.2.4 Controller software info
In the “MENU” interface, repeatedly press the [i] button until “CSc” appears. Press the [i] button twice (<0.3S) to return to the main screen, or once to proceed to “Display hardware info”.
7.7.2.5 Display hardware info
In the “MENU” interface, repeatedly press the [i] button until “dHc” appears. Press the [i] button twice (<0.3S) to save and return to the main screen, or once to proceed to “Display software info”.
7.7.2.6 Display software info
In the “MENU” interface, repeatedly press the [i] button until “dSc” appears. Press the [i] button twice (<0.3S) to save and return to the main screen, or once to proceed to “BMS hardware info”.
7.7.2.7 BMS hardware info
In the “MENU” interface, repeatedly press the [i] button until “bHc” appears. Press the [i] button twice (<0.3S) to save and return to the main screen, or once to proceed to “BMS software info”.
7.7.2.8 BMS software info
In the “MENU” interface, repeatedly press the [i] button until “dSc” appears. Press the [i] button twice (<0.3S) to save and return to the main screen, or once to proceed to “Sensor hardware info”.
7.7.2.9 Sensor hardware info
In the “MENU” interface, repeatedly press the [i] button until “SHc” appears. Press the [i] button twice (<0.3S) to save and return to the main screen, or once to proceed to “Sensor software info”.
NOTE: This information is not displayed if there is no torque sensor in the drive system.
7.7.2.10 Sensor software info
In the “MENU” interface, repeatedly press the [i] button until “SSc” appears. Press the [i] button twice (<0.3S) to save and return to the main screen, or once to proceed to “Battery info”.
7.7.2.11 Battery Information
In the “MENU” interface, repeatedly press the [i] button until “b01” appears. Briefly press [i] (0.3s) to view all battery information. Press the [i] button twice (<0.3S) to save and return to the main screen, or once to proceed to “Message of Error Code”.
Battery information includes:
- b01: Current temperature (°C)
- b04: Voltage (V)
- b06: Discharge (A)
- b07: Remaining Capacity (A/h)
- b08: Total Capacity (A/h)
- b09: Relative SOC (%)
- b10: Absolute SOC (%)
- b11: Charging cycles (number)
- b12: Maximum not charging time (Hr)
- b13: Recently not charging time (Hr)
- d00: Number of battery cell
- d01: Voltage of cell 1 (m/V)
- d02: Voltage of cell 2 (m/V)
- dn: Voltage of cell n (m/V)
NOTE: If no data is detected, "--" is displayed.
7.7.2.12 Message of Error Code
In the “MENU” interface, repeatedly press the [i] button until “EOO” appears. Briefly press [i] (0.3s) to view the last ten Error Codes from “EOO” to “EO9”. Error code “00” indicates no error.
Press the [i] button twice (<0.3S) to save and return to the main screen.
7.8 Error Code Definition
The display can show errors for a pedelec. If an error is detected, a wrench icon appears, along with an error code.
Note: Read the error code description carefully. Restart the system first. If the problem persists, contact your dealer.
