Operation

Installation

The 'Installation' chapter is intended for qualified contractors and covers safety, preparations, mounting, commissioning, shutdown, and maintenance.

Safety: Installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair must only be performed by qualified personnel using original accessories and spare parts. National and regional regulations must be observed.

Preparations:

• Installation Site: Install in a frost-free room with adequate floor load capacity and evenness. Observe room height and tilting dimensions.
• Minimum Clearances: A diagram illustrates required clearances: 400mm front, 100mm sides, 100mm rear, 800mm top, 100mm bottom.
• Oxygen Diffusion: Warning ⚠️ regarding corrosion risks in open heating systems or with non-oxygen-diffusion-tight plastic pipes. Corrosion products (rust sludge) can reduce performance or cause shutdowns.

Mounting:

• Use adjustable feet to level the unit.
• Remove the unit from its pallet, attach the feet, and lift it into place.
• Observe minimum clearances during installation.
• Heating Water Connection: Ensure all water connection and installation work complies with regulations. Follow heat pump instructions and use flat gaskets for hydraulic connections.

Commissioning:

• Fill and bleed the appliance.
• Perform a tightness check.
• Appliance Handover: Explain the unit's function and operation to the user, warn about potential dangers (especially scalding), and hand over the manual.

Shutdown: Refer to the Maintenance section for draining the appliance.

Maintenance: Regular visual checks are sufficient. No special maintenance is required.
