A) Function

This smart plug can be controlled via a smartphone and tablet.

Diagram Description (Fig 1): A network diagram shows a "Cloud" connected to a "Gateway" via the "Internet". The "Gateway" is connected to a "Smart Phone" and "Tablet" via "WiFi". The "Gateway" also has "Internet" and "WiFi" connections and manages multiple "Socket" devices.

Some functions can also be controlled manually through the button.

B) Button Control Instruction

How to control manually?

On/Off: Press the button to control the power On or Off manually, regardless of the plug's online or offline status.

Add Device: To add the device through the TUYA "Smart Life" App, press and hold the button for more than 5 seconds to make the indicator blink.

Indicator Conditions:

  • Blink: Waiting for Wi-Fi connection through "Smart Life".
  • Continuous light: Power On.
  • Extinguished: Power Off.

C) Power Connection

  1. Make sure all electrical appliances are powered off before connecting to the power socket.
  2. Plug the smart plug into a power socket.

D) On/Off Control

Control Manually

Press the button to control the power On or Off manually.

Smart Phone Control

Press On or Off in the Smart Life App to control this smart plug.
