Assembly Instructions
1. Attach each arm assembly to the water feature. Be sure to orient the arms with "L" facing upward. Remove one of the 2" bolts attaching the float to your Scott water feature and align the holes with the stainless steel arm. Reinsert the bolt with washer, outward through the housing, float and stainless steel arm. Secure with washer and nut. Repeat for each arm assembly.
2. Continue by attaching each light to the slotted end of the stainless steel arms. Feed 1/2" x 1/4" bolt downward through each light bracket and steel arm then secure with 1/4" nut. The lights can be positioned along the arm by loosening the lock nut, sliding the light to the desired position, then re-tightening the nut.
3. Connect the lights to the Transformer Control Unit by aligning pins and screwing the connector together 1/2 turn only. Do not force the connection tight or you may damage the O-ring or wiring.

Timer Operation
Photocell: Lit whenever there is power on the output side of the transformer. Indicates the transformer is set to constant power mode, meaning the transformer output stays on 24 hours a day. A: Puts the transformer in automatic dusk to dawn mode, turning output power on at dusk and off at dawn. Note: 1-9 can also be selected, which switches output power on at dusk and off after the selected number of hours (1-9). L: Flashes when the transformer detects a minor overload.

Maintenance Recommendations:
NORMAL OPERATING CONDITIONS Only connect the lights to the control box that is provided with your light kit. Assemble the light kit properly based on this document. Proper operation and maintenance of the lighting kit is outlined in Maintenance Recommendations. Remove the lights from the pond during the winter if temperatures are below freezing. Make sure the cable is protected from pond critters or machines that might damage the cord as this is not covered under the warranty. OBSERVATION Operating equipment should be observed on a regular basis (daily, if possible) for any reduction or variation in performance. If a change in performance is observed, the equipment should be carefully disconnected from power and inspected. WINTER STORAGE In regions where there is significant freezing in the wintertime, the LED light kit should be removed from the water to protect it from the expansion pressure of ice. Storage over winter is best in a location that is out of the sun and cool, but above 32° F. We recommend disconnecting your lights from your fountain when storing for the winter. CLEANING Light kits should be removed from the water at least once per year (at the end of the season in cold climates) to clean the exterior of the system. The light fixture surfaces dissipate heat into the water, and any algae, calcium, or other build-up will become an insulator that blocks heat transfer and may lead to overheating and damage. Periodically cleaning the light lenses with a non-abrasive brush will also ensure the brightest light possible. Note: The LED fixtures are sealed and do not require any maintenance other than cleaning. Do not attempt to open light fixtures, as this will void the warranty.
