Management Options

To configure and manage your camera, it is recommended that you download the associated Setup Wizard and the D-ViewCam software suite, both of which are available from the D-Link website.
Installing the Setup Wizard
1. Open a web browser, navigate to dlink.com/support/, and select your region.
2. On the next screen, enter the model number of your camera in the search bar and click Search. Click the picture of your camera. On the product page, click the Download button next to Setup Wizard.
3. Once the executable file has finished downloading, click it and follow the instructions to install the Setup Wizard.

Configuring the Camera
1. Ensure that your camera is plugged in (either using a 12 V 1.5 A power adapter or a PoE-enabled device) and connected to your computer with an Ethernet cable.
2. Open the Setup Wizard. It will display the MAC address and IP address of your camera. If you have a DHCP server on your network, this will be a dynamic IP address. If your network does not use a DHCP server, the network camera's default static IP 192.168.0.20 will be displayed. Select your camera, then click the Link button to continue.

4. To view the camera display, on the main screen of the Setup Wizard, click the Search button, then select your camera and click the Link button to open the camera's web UI. Alternatively, open a web browser and type the camera's IP address (displayed in step 2) into the URL bar and press Enter. Enter the password you created, and click Login to continue.

3. If this is your first time logging in, you will be prompted to create a password, which must be between 8 and 30 characters and must contain both letters and numbers. Press OK.

Installing D-ViewCam
1. Open a web browser, navigate to dlink.com/support/, and select your region.
2. On the next screen, click the D-ViewCam link and click the most recent version to download the D-ViewCam setup wizard (packaged as a zip file).
3. Once the file has finished downloading, unzip it, and click the executable file SetupTool.exe. Follow the instructions to install the D-ViewCam software suite.

Mounting the Camera

2. Press the sides of the plastic lining and gently lift it to remove the lining from

the camera.

Note: It is highly recommended that you configure

and test your camera before mounting it.

The DCS-4612EK, DCS-4614EK and DCS-4618EK can be installed on the ceiling or wall. The process is identical for both cameras.

Mounting the Camera

1. Use the included T10 or T15 screwdriver to unscrew the three screws on the dome cover and remove it.

3. Place the installation sticker on the ceiling or wall. Using a 4 mm drill bit, drill three holes 30 mm deep into the wall or ceiling. Drive the plastic wall anchors into the holes.

4. Insert three mounting screws into the holes in the base of the device. Place the device against the mounting sticker and screw it in to attach it to the wall or ceiling.

4. Connect the RJ-45 plug into the Ethernet connector, then screw the waterproof connector to the Ethernet connector by turning it clockwise about one half-turn.

6. T h e p o we r c o n n e c t o r a n d re s e t button cables are not waterproof. It is recommended to use waterproof tape to protect them. Wind the tape around each cable in an overlapping manner to cover them.

1. Öffnen Sie dlink.com/support/ in einem Webbrowser und wählen Sie Ihre Region.
2. Geben Sie im nächsten Bildschirm die Modellnummer Ihrer Kamera in die Suchleiste ein und klicken Sie auf Suchen. Klicken Sie auf das Bild Ihrer Kamera. Klicken Sie auf der Produktseite neben Setup-Assistent auf Download.

3. Entpacken Sie die heruntergeladene Datei und klicken Sie auf die ausführbare Datei SetupTool.exe. Folgen Sie den Anweisungen zur Installation der D-ViewCam-Software.

Montage der Kamera

Hinweis: Es ist unbedingt ratsam, die Kamera vor der Montage zu konfigurieren und zu testen.
DCS-4612EK, DCS-4614EK und DCS-4618EK können an Decken oder Wänden installiert werden. Die Montage ist für beide Kameras dieselbe.
Montage der Kamera
1. Lockern Sie mit dem inbegriffenen T10- oder T15-Schraubendreher die drei Schrauben auf der Abdeckhaube und entfernen Sie sie.

3. Bringen Sie die Klebeschablone an der Decke oder der Wand an. Verwenden Sie einen 4-mm-Bohrkopf und bohren Sie drei 30 mm tiefe Löcher in Wand oder Decke. Stecken Sie die Kunststoffdübel in die Löcher.

4. Stecken Sie den RJ-45 Stecker in den Ethernet-Steckverbinder und drehen Sie den wasserdichten Steckverbinder im Uhrzeigersinn etwa eine halbe Umdrehung auf den Ethernet-Steckverbinder.

5. Drehen Sie den hinteren Teil des wasserdichten Steckanschlusses im Uhrzeigersinn, bis eine feste Abdichtung um das Ethernet-Kabel erreicht ist.

6. Netzanschluss- und Reset-Kabel sind nicht wasserdicht. Es wird empfohlen, sie mit wasserdichtem Klebeband zu schützen. Umwickeln Sie dazu die Kabel überlappend mit Klebeband.

Pour configurer et gérer votre caméra, il est recommandé de télécharger l'assistant de configuration associé et la suite logicielle D-ViewCam, qui sont tous deux disponibles sur le site web de D-Link.
Installation de l'assistant de configuration
1. Ouvrez un navigateur Web, accédez à dlink.com/support/, et sélectionnez votre région.
2. Sur l'écran suivant, saisissez le numéro de modèle de votre caméra dans la barre de recherche et cliquez sur Rechercher. Cliquez sur l'image de votre caméra.

Sur la page du produit, cliquez sur le bouton Télécharger à côté de l'assistant d'installation. 3. Une fois le téléchargement du fichier exécutable terminé, cliquez dessus et suivez les instructions pour installer l'assistant d'installation.
Configuration de la caméra
1. Assurez-vous que votre caméra est branchée (soit avec un adaptateur d'alimentation 12 V 1,5 A, soit avec un périphérique compatible PoE) et connectée à votre ordinateur avec un câble Ethernet.
2. Ouvrez l'assistant de configuration. Il affichera l'adresse MAC et l'adresse IP de votre caméra. Si vous avez un serveur DHCP sur votre réseau, il s'agira d'une adresse IP dynamique. Si votre réseau n'utilise pas de serveur DHCP, l'adresse IP statique par défaut de la caméra réseau 192.168.0.20 s'affiche. Sélectionnez votre caméra, puis cliquez sur le bouton Link (Lier) pour continuer.

4. Pour visualiser l'affichage de la caméra, sur l'écran principal de l'assistant de configuration, cliquez sur le bouton Search (Rechercher), puis sélectionnez votre caméra et cliquez sur le bouton Link (Lien) pour ouvrir l'interface utilisateur Web de la caméra. Vous pouvez également ouvrir un navigateur Web et taper l'adresse IP de la caméra (affichée à l'étape 2) dans la barre d'URL et appuyer sur Entrée. Entrez le mot de passe que vous avez créé, et cliquez sur Login (Connexion) pour continuer.

3. Si c'est la première fois que vous vous connectez, vous serez invité à créer un mot de passe, qui doit avoir entre 8 et 30 caractères et doit contenir à la fois des lettres et des chiffres. Appuyez sur OK.

1. Ouvrez un navigateur Web, accédez à dlink.com/support/, et sélectionnez votre région.
