DocumentDocumentTR-4192S - Stainless Polaris XPEDITION Stage 5 Single Slip-on Exhaust Disassembly 1. Remove 2 bolts and springs from exhaust flange and remove stock muffler assembly. Retain rubber grommet, bolts and springs for re-use. 2. Remove heat shield and retain 6 bolts for re-use. Assembly 1. Install black cover with "Trinity" logo in place of OEM heatshield re-using 6 bolts from OEM heatshield (Image #1) 2. Install inlet and outlet flanges to muffler body with brackets as shown. Leave hardware loose for adjustment at this time. (Image #2 & #3) *Bracket with notch near mounting post goes on inlet side (Image #2) 3. Slide the top factory rubber grommets from OEM muffler mounting back into their original positions. 4. Slide Muffler hangers into mounting holes in grommets, passenger side first. Tilting and manipulating muffler should help with this process. (Image #4 & #5) 5. Secure inlet flange to factory header pipe re-using bolts and springs from OEM flange. (Image #6) 6. Tighten all bolts starting at the exhaust flange and working towards outlet. 7. Install 1/2" washers and cotter pins to brackets to secure exhaust mounting tabs as pictured in Image #2 & #3. WARNING *Trinity Racing exhaust systems will require adjustment to OEM fuel settings such as jetting changes or installation of an EF I programmer. Trinity Racing will not be held responsible for damages that occur during operation of your vehicle under improper fuel settings. Ultimately, it is the responsibility of the owner/rider to adjust fuel settings to specific riding conditions and elevation changes before riding. *Inspection of the muffler packing is recommended following every 15 hours of runtime. Failure to maintain muffler packing will result in power loss, increased sound output, and damage to the muffler body or muffler components. *Trinity Racing exhausts systems are designed for high performance applications and are legal for closed course competition only. This product is not applicable nor intended for use on emissions controlled street, highway, or off-road vehicles.
