Important Placement and Usage Guidelines

1. Product description

This air purifier can strongly remove smoke and dust, and is suitable for places with more smoke, dust, pollen, particles, and pollutants in the air, such as indoor smoking. This can reduce the chance of you and your family being harmed by second-hand smoke and haze, and can protect your health.

This air purifier is equipped with a composite filter which can effectively remove particles in the air, including particles of PM2.5 level, formaldehyde, and odor (smoke), making the air you breathe clean and fresh.

Composite filter: This filter can absorb smoke, pollen, and dust, intercept bacteria in the air, effectively remove TVOC, odor (smoke) in the air, deeply clean the air, and effectively remove PM2.5.

3. Instructions for use

3.1 Precautions for filter

All filters are attached to the inside of the air purifier. Before using the product, be sure to remove the packaging of the filter. Please follow the procedure in the following diagrams to take out all filters from the host and remove their packaging, and then put filters back into the air purifier.

Special Note: The filter with activated carbon may potentially produce a small amount of powder due to rub. This powder may adhere to other filters but will not affect the function of the product; please use it with peace of mind.

3.2 Steps to attach the filter

  1. Place fingers on the buttons on the left and right sides of the machine. Press the buttons, and the front cover will automatically open. [Diagram: Shows hands pressing buttons on the sides of the air purifier to open the front cover.]
  2. Open the front cover towards your direction. [Diagram: Shows the front cover being opened outwards.]

  5. Assemble the entire set of filters into the air-purifier in the right order. [Diagram: Shows filters being inserted into the air purifier, with an arrow indicating the 'Handle' side of the HEPA filter.] Attention: Make sure that the HEPA activated carbon composite filter with the handle is facing towards you, and ensure all hooks of the filter are properly fitted to the air purifier.
  6. Firstly, fit the hook at the bottom of the front cover to the bottom of the air purifier, then push it towards the body of the purifier and fasten it. [Diagram: Shows the bottom hooks of the front cover being aligned with slots on the air purifier body before being pushed and secured.]

The control panel features various buttons and indicator lights for operating the air purifier.

4.1 Power

  1. Connecting the power: The power button ? [Power] will light up.
  2. Press the button to operate the machine. You will hear a "ding" sound once the operation is successful.

4.2 Mode

  1. Touch to adjust the fan speed, or switch to Do Not Disturb or Auto mode. You will hear a "ding" sound each time you touch the button.
  2. When you press and hold the Mode button for 3 seconds until you hear a 'Ding' sound, you will start the breath-hold mode, where the panel lights are all turned off. To turn the lights back on, please press and hold the Mode button again for 3 seconds until you hear a "ding" sound.

4.3 Timer

  1. Press the Timer key ⏱️ [Timer] multiple times to set the timer for 1/2/4/8 hours sequentially. When the Timer key light is on and the 4 indicator lights at the bottom are also lit, there will be a 'ding' sound.
  2. Press and hold the Timer key ⏱️ [Timer] for 3 seconds. The Timer key light will turn off, and all 4 indicator lights at the bottom will also turn off, indicating the timer is turned off. You will hear a 'ding' sound.

4.4.1 UV-C

  1. Turn on UV-C or Anions (Only for breeva Pro 400 premium): Press the UV-C/Filter button ? [Filter] once. The button light will turn on, you will hear a 'ding', and UV-C or Anions will activate. (Note: UV-C or Anions can only be turned on separately via the APP; the machine button can only turn UV-C on or off at the same time).
  2. Turn off UV-C or Anions (only for breeva Pro 400 premium): Press the UV-C/Filter button ? [Filter] once. The button light will turn off, you will hear a 'ding', and UV-C or Anions will deactivate. (When UV-C or Anions are both turned on, UV-C can be turned off individually by APP. If only one function is turned off, the light will not turn off).

4.4.2 Anions

  1. Turn on Anions (Only for breeva Pro 400): Press the Anion button ✨ [Anion] once. The button light will turn on, you will hear a 'ding', and Anions will activate. (Note: The APP can only turn Anions on, but the machine button can both turn Anions on or off).
  2. Turn off Anions (only for breeva Pro 400): Press the Anion button ✨ [Anion] once. The button light will turn off, you will hear a 'ding', and Anions will deactivate. (When Anions is turned on, Anions can be turned off by APP. If only one function is turned off, the light will not turn off).

4.5 Filter

  1. Filter life:
    • When the light is white, it means the filter life is sufficient.
    • When the light is yellow, it means the filter life is less than 5%.
    • When the light is red, it means the filter life is exhausted; please replace the filter as soon as possible.
  2. To reset the filter life: Press and hold the Filter button ? [Filter] for 3 seconds. You will hear a 'ding' to confirm the reset.

4.6 AQI indicator

  1. By reading the values from the dust sensor and VOC sensor, the current air quality is determined and displayed through three-color LED lights.
    • When the light color is white, it means the air quality is excellent.
    • When the light color is yellow, it means the air quality is medium.
    • When the light color is red, it means the air quality is poor.
  2. Note: AQI is an indicator light without actual function. The AQI standard adopts the US EPA recommended value.

4.7 Lock button

  1. To enable panel lock: Press and hold the Lock button ? [Lock] key. You will hear a "ding" to turn it on. When the panel is locked, touching any key will cause the Lock key to flash twice.
  2. To turn off panel lock: Long press the Lock button ? [Lock] key. You will hear a 'ding' to turn it off.

5. How to clean air-purifier

Note:

5.1 Exterior cleaning

Regularly clean the inside and outside of the air purifier to prevent dust from accumulating.

  1. Use a soft dry cloth to wipe the dust off from the body of the air-purifier.
  2. Clean the air inlet and air outlet with a soft dry cloth.
  3. It is forbidden to wipe the body of the air-purifier with a wet cloth with water to prevent liquid from entering the machine and causing malfunction.

5.2 Cleaning the dust sensor cover

Clean the dust sensor cover every 2 months to ensure the air-purifier is running at its best performance. If the air-purifier is used in a dusty environment, clean it frequently.

Note:

  1. Use a soft brush ?️ [Brush] to clean the dust sensor air inlet/outlet. [Diagram: Shows a soft brush cleaning the dust sensor area.]
  2. Remove the protective cover of the dust sensor. [Diagram: Shows a hand carefully removing a small cover near the dust sensor.]
  3. Using a slightly wet cotton swab ☁️ [Cotton Swab] to clean the dust sensor air inlet and air outlet; then dry it with a dry cotton swab. [Diagram: Shows a cotton swab cleaning the dust sensor area.]

6. How to clean the filter

Note:

  1. Please turn off the air-purifier and unplug the power ? [Plug]. [Diagram: Shows a hand unplugging the power cord.]
  2. Place fingers on the buttons on the left and right sides of the machine. Press the buttons, and the front cover will automatically open. [Diagram: Shows hands pressing buttons on the sides of the air purifier to open the front cover.]
  3. To remove the pre-filter, take the top two flanges and pull the filter out towards you. [Diagram: Shows hands gripping the top flanges of the pre-filter and pulling it out.]
  4. Rinse the pre-filter under the tap. If it is too dirty, please use a soft brush ?️ [Brush] to remove dust from it. [Diagram: Shows the pre-filter being rinsed under a faucet, with a brush nearby.]
  5. Dry the pre-filter with air. [Diagram: Shows hands holding the pre-filter, with water droplets falling, indicating drying.]
  6. Put the pre-filter back inside the purifier. Then properly assemble all hooks to the purifier. [Diagram: Shows the pre-filter being reinserted into the air purifier, aligning hooks.]
  7. To install the front cover, firstly assemble the bottom hooks to the bottom of the air-purifier, and then push the front cover towards the air-purifier body. [Diagram: Shows the front cover being attached by aligning bottom hooks and pushing it closed.]

7. Replace the filter

When it is necessary to replace the pre-filter and HEPA activated carbon composite filter, please follow the steps below to correctly replace the new filter.

Attention:

  1. Please turn off the air-purifier and unplug the power ? [Plug]. [Diagram: Shows a hand unplugging the power cord.]
  2. Place your fingers at the grooves on both sides of the top of the filter cover and gently pull out the first half of the filter cover, then lift the filter cover upwards. [Diagram: Shows hands gripping the top of the filter cover and pulling it open.]
  3. Remove all filters inside the purifier. [Diagram: Shows hands pulling out filters from the opened air purifier.]
  4. Remove all packaging from the filter. [Diagram: Shows hands peeling off plastic packaging from a filter.]
  5. The order of replacing new filters (inside to outside) is: HEPA Activated Carbon Composite filter, pre-filter. [Diagram: Shows new filters being inserted into the air purifier in the correct order.] Attention: Make sure the side with the two flanges is facing towards you and all hooks of the pre-filter are properly fitted to the air-purifier.
  6. Before installing the filter cover, assemble the bottom hooks to the bottom of the purifier. Then push the filter cover towards the purifier body. [Diagram: Shows the front cover being attached by aligning bottom hooks and pushing it closed.]

8. APP Networking Instructions

1. Download the app

You can scan the QR code below through other software to download TCL HOME or search for "TCL HOME" in the APP Store and Google Play store to download and install it. [Description: A QR code placeholder for app download.]

2. Configuration settings

Under the standby state, press and hold the power button ? [Power] for 3 seconds. The buzzer will sound, the Wi-Fi indicator ? [Wi-Fi] will flash quickly, and the device will enter the configurable state. When the Wi-Fi indicator is constantly on, the configuration is complete.

Use the TCL HOME APP to operate the device. After that, you can observe whether the air quality in your home is within the target range in real time through the TCL HOME APP. TCL HOME APP can also help you to control the device to purify the air in your home.

After the configuration is complete, please go to the center page and click on the voice assistant to enter the voice operation settings:

Tips:

Note: If Wi-Fi is connected, pressing the power button once turns off the device. If Wi-Fi is not turned off, the Wi-Fi mark will stay on and its brightness will decrease to 50%. If the Wi-Fi has been disconnected, you can reconfigure the connection by following the steps in "Turn on the Wi-Fi function".

9. Types of malfunctions and solutions

This chapter summarizes the most common problems you may encounter when using your air-purifier. If you are unable to resolve the issue based on the information below, please contact the store where you purchased it or the customer service center.

Machine can not be turned on Front cover may not be fastened Remove the front cover and re-attach it.
The power plug cord is not connected to the power supply Unplug the power plug and re-plug again.
Machine does not turn on Plug the power in and turn the machine on again.
Packaging for filter is not removed Remove all the packaging of the filter before use.
The volume of air from air outlet reduced The air quality is good and the smart mode is activated When the air is clean and fresh, the product will automatically reduce the fan speed to save energy.
Night mode starts automatically, the machine's LED indicator light is on Press the fan speed button continuously to select a suitable fan speed.
The washable pre-filter is dirty Please clean the pre-filter in time.
Filter is not replaced Replace with a new filter.
The wind speed cannot be adjusted automatically There are not enough spaces around the machine to release the air Make sure to leave at least 40 cm of space in front of and above the machine.
The dust sensor is wet, the indoor temperature is too high, and condensation forms on the surface of the sensor Make sure the dust sensor is clean and dry.
Lack of the best running performance or poor performance Exceeds expected room usage Please choose a suitable number of air-purifiers according to the actual use area.
The air inlet or outlet of the machine is blocked Please remove objects from the air inlet and outlet.

The mobile app cannot find the device 1. The mobile phone Bluetooth is not turned on; you need to turn on the Bluetooth first. 1. Turn on the Bluetooth of the mobile phone, and re-search for the distribution network.
2. The distribution network cannot be searched, and the network needs to be reconfigured. 2. Press and hold power for 3s when the device is turned on again to reset the device to the network configuration state, and then use the mobile phone to search for the device for network configuration.
