Introduction
WiiM aims to provide simple, affordable, Hi-Fi, lossless audio systems. The WiiM Pro is a versatile network music streamer that delivers Google Chromecast, AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, DLNA, MQA (Beta), Amazon Music Cast, and gapless playback of Hi-Res 192k/24-bit lossless audio to your stereo system. It streams music directly from cloud services or your personal library.
Connect the WiiM Pro to your stereo receiver, DAC, or amplifier and control it via the free WiiM Home App, your favorite music apps (Spotify, TIDAL, Amazon Music), or Chromecast-enabled apps. Voice control is also available through iPhone, HomePod, Echo devices, Google Home devices, the Alexa App, Google Home, or Apple Home App.
The WiiM Pro can be grouped with other compatible devices for whole-home audio experiences or to play different songs in different rooms. Its digital and analog inputs and outputs ensure compatibility with existing stereo systems.

Controls and Lights
The WiiM Pro features touch controls on the top panel and various input/output ports on the rear panel.
Buttons / IO Interface
- Power: USB Type-C power plug.
- Play/Pause: Play/Pause, network pairing, and restore to factory settings.
- Preset: Play preset content (short press) or save favorite content as preset (long press).
- Volume Up: Increase volume.
- Volume Down: Decrease volume.
- Analog audio in: Standard RCA input.
- Analog audio out: Standard RCA output.
- Digital Optical audio out: SPDIF optical output (up to 192 kHz / 24-bit).
- Digital Coax audio out: Digital Coaxial port (up to 192 kHz / 24-bit).
- Mic: Used for auto-measuring audio path latency for multiroom sync.
- 12 V trigger: 2.5 mm port to connect with an amplifier for automatic power on/off.

The three-color status LED indicates the device's state:

How to Set Up
Connect the Audio Cable
Connect the WiiM Pro to your audio system using the appropriate cables (RCA, Optical, or Coaxial) depending on your receiver, DAC, amplifier, or powered speakers.
Setup System
Wi-Fi Setup:
- Download the WiiM Home App.
- Power on the WiiM Pro and your audio system.
- Open the WiiM Home App, select the device, and follow the on-screen instructions to connect to your Wi-Fi network.
- Configure audio output settings (bit depth and sample rate) if using digital outputs.
Setup with Apple WAC:
- Ensure your WiiM Pro is powered on.
- On your iOS device, go to Settings and select the WiiM Pro under the WAC setup section.
Setup with Apple Home App:
- Open the Home app on your iOS device.
- Tap the '+' button, then 'Add Accessory.'
- If the device is not found via scanning, tap 'Don't Have a Code or Can't Scan?' and select your WiiM Pro from 'Nearby Accessories.'
Fill Your Home with Sound
Stream music via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. Group multiple WiiM Pro devices for whole-home audio. Connect analog or digital sources (turntable, CD player, MP3 player) and cast to multiple WiiM Pro speakers simultaneously.
Voice Control
Control your music playback using voice commands.
Works with Alexa
To use Alexa, download the Amazon Alexa App and set up your WiiM device within the WiiM Home App by logging into your Amazon account. Then, in the Alexa app, you can combine WiiM Pro with Echo devices for multi-room music or set WiiM Pro as a preferred speaker.
Works with Siri
Stream music from Apple devices (iOS, Mac, PC) using AirPlay 2. Select your WiiM Pro device from the Control Center or music app and use Siri commands like 'Hey Siri, play music.'
Works with Google Voice Assistant
Link your WiiM Pro with your Google Home devices via the Google Home app. Once linked, you can control the WiiM Pro using voice commands through your Google Assistant-enabled devices.
Control via Your Favorite App
Spotify Connect
Use Spotify Connect to play music from Spotify on your WiiM Pro. Control playback using your phone, tablet, or computer as a remote. For more information, visit spotify.com/connect.
AirPlay 2
WiiM Pro supports AirPlay 2, allowing you to stream music from iOS, Mac, and PC devices, or TV audio from Apple TV. You can stream to multiple AirPlay 2-enabled devices for a multiroom experience. Ensure your Apple device is running iOS 11.4 or later and is on the same Wi-Fi network as the WiiM Pro.
TIDAL Connect
Stream music seamlessly from the TIDAL App to your WiiM Pro in the highest possible quality.
Amazon Music Cast
Cast up to 192 kHz / 24-bit Ultra HD music directly from the Amazon Music app to your WiiM Pro. Log in to your Amazon account in the WiiM Home App to enable this feature.
All Music in One App
The WiiM Home App provides a unified interface to control your content and devices. It supports numerous streaming services including Spotify, iHeartRadio, Tidal, Amazon Prime Music, Deezer, TuneIn, and more. You can also play music from your mobile device, local network media servers, or personal cloud servers. The app features unified search across services and customizable EQ options with 26 presets or a 10-band graphic EQ.
Multiroom and Stereo Pairing
Create wireless multiroom sound systems by grouping the WiiM Pro with other AirPlay 2 speakers, Amazon Echo devices, or Google Home devices. You can also group multiple WiiM Pros and WiiM Minis. All audio input types (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, analog Line-in, digital SPDIF-in) can be used as sources for the multiroom system. Additionally, group two WiiM Pro devices as a stereo pair for an enhanced soundstage.
LinkPlay Multiroom/Stereo Pairing
In the WiiM Home App, select devices, tap the '+' icon, choose the other WiiM Pro, and set the stereo pairing (L/R/LR).
Amazon Alexa Multiroom
Refer to section 6.1 for detailed steps on setting up multiroom audio with Amazon Alexa devices.
Multiroom with Chromecast Audio Devices
Stream audio from a PC, turntable, or other devices to multiple WiiM Pro units for a synchronized multiroom experience.
Audio Input via Line In or SPDIF In
Use the WiiM Pro as a preamplifier and network audio transmitter. Connect analog sources (CD player, turntable, TV) to the LINE IN port or digital sources to the SPDIF IN port. In the WiiM Home app, select the input source and create a multiroom group to transmit the audio to other WiiM Pro devices. The built-in EQ allows for audio processing and volume control.
Audio Output via Line /SPDIF/Coax/BT Out
Connect the WiiM Pro's audio outputs (analog LINE out, digital optical TOSLINK, or Coaxial) to your DAC, amplifier, or powered speakers. For bit-perfect audio, use the digital outputs and enable fixed line-out level. Volume can be controlled either from your AVR/amplifier or the WiiM Home App.
Audio Output via SPDIF/Coax/Line Out
Connect the appropriate cable to the output port on the WiiM Pro and start playing music via the WiiM Home App.
Audio Output via BT Out (BT sourcing mode)
In the WiiM Home App, navigate to Device Settings > Audio Output and select Bluetooth to connect to external Bluetooth devices.
Stream Audio to WiiM Pro with Bluetooth
Pair your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, laptop) with the WiiM Pro via Bluetooth for wireless music streaming. To enter pairing mode, press and hold the Volume '+' and '-' buttons simultaneously for 2 seconds. The WiiM Pro supports A2DP and AVRCP profiles, with SBC and AAC codec support.
Advanced Features
Update the Speaker
The WiiM Pro updates automatically when connected to Wi-Fi, typically between 2:00-5:00 a.m. in your local time zone. Updates occur silently without audio or visual indication.
Disable/Enable Wi-Fi
You can disable Wi-Fi in the device settings if you prefer to use an Ethernet connection exclusively.
FAQ
- Cannot find device: Ensure the network is available, the device is powered on, and the LED is solid white. Restart the device or reconfigure it to the network if necessary.
- No sound: Check that the power amplifier is on, audio cables are properly connected and functional, and the volume is set appropriately on all connected devices.
- Device cannot power on: Verify the power cable is working correctly and the device status is normal.

Reset the Speaker
To perform a factory reset, press and hold the Play/Pause button for 10 seconds. The device will provide an audio tone and the light will flash red and white. This action clears all source, volume, and network settings.
