iFlight BLITZ F7 Wiring Diagram
DJI Digital VTX + Radio
This section details the wiring for connecting the DJI Digital VTX and Radio system to the BLITZ F7 flight controller. Key connections include:

Configuration Notes:
- Ensure your protocols match for DJI Radio input signals. DJI Goggle protocol and Betaflight protocol must be the same.
- For lower signal latency, use the
SBUS_BAUD_FAST
protocol on both ends. In Betaflight Configurator CLI, typeset sbus_baud_fast=on

DJI Air Unit
Wiring for the DJI Air Unit, supporting voltage from 7.4V to 17.6V. The DJI Plug&Play connector has a VBAT passthrough.
Important: The DJI Air Unit can only handle voltage up to 4S. For 6S batteries, connect to the 9V (Built-in BEC).

DJI O3 Air Unit
Wiring and configuration for the DJI O3 Air Unit (7.4V-26.4V). For the O3 Air Unit, configure the OSD device to MSP in Betaflight Configurator CLI:
- Set OSD device to MSP:
set osd_displayport_device = MSP
- Specify the serial port for MSP displayport (e.g.,
set displayport_msp_serial = 0
, where 0 is the serial port number minus 1). - Type
save
and exit.
Various Receivers
This section covers wiring for different types of receivers, including FrSky SBUS, S.Port, and TBS Crossfire (CRSF).
General Receiver Connections:
- When not using the DJI remote controller, do not connect SBUS and GND.
FrSky S.Port / R-XSR +S.port (R9Mini, R9MM):
- If the DJI VTX is connected, you can connect the unused R2 for the receiver SBUS wire and connect S.Port to any free UART TX (e.g., T3) for Frsky telemetry.
Serial Receivers (via UART):
- Receiver Mode: Serial Rx
- The UART: Select the correct UART in the Ports tab.
- Receiver Provider: Choose from options like SBUS, FPort, CRSF, ELRS.
- Telemetry output: Configure as needed (e.g., SmartPort).
TBS Nano Crossfire (CRSF):
- Receiver Mode: Serial Rx
- The UART: Select the correct UART in the Ports tab.
- Receiver Provider: CRSF
ELRS:
- Receiver Mode: Serial Rx

General Notes and Status Indicators
Note: If not using iFlight electronics, ensure the plug pinout is identical or the wire harness needs to be reordered.
Status Indicator LEDs:
- FC startup successful: Blue LED is visible
- 3.3V & MCU available: Red LED is visible
- 5V BEC output available: Green LED is visible
- Vbat is available: Orange LED is visible
Each LED indicates the status of your flight controller.
