Remove the back plate from the unit 2. Drill 2 holes (A, C) on the wall for the screws and one hold for the cable (B) 3. Knock the supplied plugs into the screw holes (A, C) 4. Fix the back plate firmly on the wall with the 2 screws provided 5. Thread the cable through the cable hole (B) and terminate 6. Attach the unit to the back plate and screw the bottom lock screw in place (D) 84mm 35mm Reset Nearkey Configuration To reset your nearkey reader to factory default settings, unscrew the bottom lock screw and remove the unit from the back plate. On the rear of the unit at the bottom there is a reset push button. With the unit still powered up press and hold the reset button for 5secs then release. Reset Button NKY-5277-DL NKY-5277-P (rear) Note We recommend sealing the reader to the wall and the cable penetration from behind to mitigate against any moisture ingress and insects.
