GSWave_Web File Information

Important Upgrading Note

Before upgrading to this GSWave_Web firmware, ensure the following:

  • UCM6200/6510 must be on firmware version 1.0.20.44 or higher.
  • ALWAYS create a backup of your configuration and data before performing a firmware upgrade.
  • Please follow the upgrading instructions carefully.

Upgrade Steps:

  1. Step 1: Log in to the UCM6200/6510 web UI as an administrator. Navigate to System Status > System Information to check the firmware version. The UCM's "Program" version must be 1.0.20.44 or higher before upgrading GSWave_Web. Refer to Figure 1 for details.

  2. Step 2: Before upgrading GSWave_Web, the UCM's "GSWave" version should be 1.0.20.44. Refer to Figure 1 for details.
  3. Step 3: Download the GSWave_Web 1.0.20.46 file from the following link and save it to your local PC: https://firmware.grandstream.com/BETA/gswaveV1_0_20_46.tgz
  4. Step 4: Navigate to the UCM6200/6510 web UI > Maintenance > Upgrade page. Locate the option "GS Wave Firmware File Path" and click on "Choose File to Upload". Select the downloaded "gswaveV1_0_20_46.tgz" file from your PC to upload to the UCM. Wait approximately 1 minute for the upload to complete. Refer to Figure 2 for guidance.

  5. Step 5: After the GSWave_Web file is uploaded, a success prompt will briefly appear. Navigate back to System Status > System Information to verify the firmware version. The UCM's "GSWave" version should now be 1.0.20.46. Refer to Figure 3 for confirmation.

  6. Step 6: GSWave Web is now successfully upgraded to version 1.0.20.46. No reboot is required on the UCM.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where GSWave_Web was not working for making calls.

Known Issues

  • Sharing video/presentation may fail when attempting to do so multiple times.
