Operating Loss
Operating loss in Q1'24 narrowed significantly by 49.3% YoY on a GAAP basis and by 96.3% YoY on a Non-GAAP basis, driven by increased gross profit and decreased operating expenses (OPEX).
Net Profitability
Non-GAAP net profit in Q1'24 was $12.3 million, a substantial improvement from a loss of $3.7 million in Q1'23. This was aided by a $12.8 million interest income from treasury management.
Operating Cash Flow and Net Cash
Net cash generated in operating activities was $14.5 million in Q1'24. The company maintained a strong net cash balance of approximately US$1 Billion as of March 31, 2024.
Balance Sheet Strength
Tuya maintains a strong balance sheet with a low Total Liabilities to Assets Ratio (8.8% in Q1'24) and no debt or capital commitments. Liabilities are primarily operating-related.
