A December 2022 Revision C / Dec 2022 SYSTIMAX 360TM Evolve Modular Panel Installation Instructions General The SYSTIMAX 360TM Evolve modular panel is a highly flexible front or rear accessible patch panel assembly. It is available as a 1U flat panel, 1U angled panel, 2U flat panel and 2U angled panel. When installed with Mseries outlets, modular patch cords, and cables, it is an integral part of the SYSTIMAX® connectivity system. The panel consists of a rack mounted base unit, front cover, rear cable management hardware, and labels for port numbering. It mounts in a standard 19-inch (483mm) equipment rack with universal hole spacing. Mount panel to rack using the 12-24 screws provided. After securing the panel to the rack, snap the Evolve covers onto the front of the panel. Note: Verify the SYSTIMAX name is upright on flat panel cover and on angled panel center cover before snapping in place. These two covers can be installed upside down. Side covers on angled panel are interchangeable and are not side specific. Page 3 of 6 860561828 Instruction Sheet Step 2 Assemble and Install Rear Cable Manager www.commscope.com 1. Attach the four cable troughs onto bar as shown and insert four hook-and-loop straps into slots in cable troughs. 2. Attach cable bar to rear of panel. For 48-port panels, two cable bars are provided. 3. Lay cables evenly in cable troughs and secure using hook-and-loop straps as shown. Page 4 of 6 www.commscope.com 860561828 Revision C / Dec 2022 Step 3 Populate Panel with Outlets 1. Connect cables to outlets per instructions provided with the individual outlets. 2. Populate panel with outlets and route cabling as shown. Secure cables using the hook-and-loop straps provided. 3. The figures above illustrate a typical completed installation. Insert labels and label retainers into outlet bezel from the front as shown. 3. To print a designation label, go to http://www.commscope.com/Resources/Labeling-Templates and scroll down to 360 Panels and Shelves. Select the proper label template: · 360 Evolve Label Sheet A4 (760187286) · 360 Evolve Label Sheet US LTR (760187278) Note: Labeling website has two options for printing labels: letter size and A4 size.
