Important Safety Information
Warnings
To prevent strangulation hazards, ensure the adapter cable is always out of reach of children, placed at least 1 meter away from the infant. Avoid immersing units or the charger in water. Keep batteries away from excessive heat sources. Do not cover the baby monitor with towels or blankets. Do not touch plug contacts with sharp or metallic objects. The baby unit adapter may become warm during use, which is normal.
Precautions for Use
Use this device only as described in this manual. Position the baby unit for the best view of the baby in the crib, on a flat surface like a dresser or shelf. Avoid plugging other electrical devices into the same outlet as the baby monitor to reduce interference. Ensure the voltage on the adapters matches your mains voltage. Do not place the camera near devices operating on the 2.4 GHz frequency (Wi-Fi or Bluetooth). Turn off the parent unit when not in use and unplug the baby unit when not in use. This product should be installed by adults. Keep small components away from children during assembly.
Adult Supervision
The video baby monitor is intended to assist and provide peace of mind, not as a medical device or a substitute for adult supervision. Regular adult monitoring of the baby is strongly recommended. Never leave a child alone, even for short periods. Do not place the baby unit inside the crib or playpen. Do not allow children to play with the baby monitor.
Storage Precautions
Use and store the baby monitor in temperatures between 10°C and 35°C, away from direct sunlight. If the battery appears damaged, discontinue use and contact BEABA customer service. Never use a product with a damaged battery.
Equipment Replacement
Use only the provided battery for the parent unit and only manufacturer-supplied accessories. Use the same type of adapter if replacement is needed.

Before Use
Baby Unit Setup
Connect the baby unit (camera) to power. Place it at least 1 meter from the baby's head for optimal image quality. The baby unit requires a constant power connection to operate.
Parent Unit Setup
For first-time use, charge the parent unit for 8 hours using the provided adapter (USB-C 5V DC/1 A). Once charged, it can be used wirelessly for up to 8 hours.
Linking Units and Range
The parent and baby units connect automatically when powered on. The signal strength is indicated by network bars on the parent unit's screen. Four bars indicate a strong connection; no bars and "No Link" indicate no connection.
Camera (Baby Unit) Description
Key features of the camera unit include:

- Light Indicator: Stable red (poor network), flashing red (connecting), stable blue (normal operation)
- Call/Pairing Button: Press for call, long press to pair
- Reset Button: Use reset pin to restore factory settings
Receiver (Parent Unit) Description
Key features of the parent unit include:
- Micro USB-C Power Port: 5V/1A DC
- Charging Light: Orange (charging), Green (fully charged)
- ON/OFF Light: Yellow (on), No light (off)
- Microphone: Captures audio
- Antenna: Adjust for optimal signal reception
- ON/OFF Button: Press for 5 seconds to turn on/off
- Zoom: Zoom in/out (x1, x2, x4)
- Menu Button: Access settings menu
- Direction Buttons: Control camera pan and tilt
- OK Button: Confirm selection
- Call Button: Activate/deactivate talk-back mode
- SD Card Slot*: For recording photos and videos
- Reset Button: Use reset pin to reset the receiver
- Back Button: Navigate back or long press to stop music
Installation
Place the camera on a flat surface. Use the provided support (F) or tilt support (G) for optimal positioning and viewing angle.
General Settings
- Brightness: Adjust via the Menu.
- Time Setting: Set date, time, and display format via the Menu.
- Language Setting: Select preferred language via the Menu.
- Sound Setting: Adjust volume or mute the parent unit via the Menu.
- Sleep Mode: Configure sleep mode settings (1, 5, 10, 30, 60 minutes, or off) via the Menu to conserve battery.
- SD Card*: Insert SD card for recording. Manage and format the card via the Menu. A notification will appear if no SD card is detected. (*SD card not provided).
- Update: Connect to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. Check for updates via Menu > Version Information.
- Low Battery Alarm: The screen displays a low battery warning when power is low; recharge the unit promptly.
Connection
The receiver can connect to up to two cameras. The camera is paired by default. If the camera is not displayed, follow the reconnection procedure.
- Reconnect Camera to Receiver: Navigate to Camera Management > Camera via the Menu. Press and hold the pairing button on the camera until a tone is heard. Press the OK button on the receiver to start pairing.
- Disconnect Camera from Receiver: Navigate to Camera Management > Camera via the Menu. Long press the OK button on the receiver to unpair.
When two cameras are connected, select a camera via Settings > Camera. The selected camera can be controlled using the direction buttons.
Connect Camera to Phone
Download the BEABA ZEN CONNECT application. Follow the on-screen instructions to register an account and pair your camera. Ensure your Wi-Fi router is 2.4 GHz. For pairing issues, refer to the in-app FAQ.
