Thank you for purchasing our 6-inch Full HD touch screen monitor. Please read this manual carefully before using the unit. Have a great experience!

CAUTION

  1. Please avoid heavy impact and dropping the product onto the ground when moving it.
  2. The screen of this product is made of glass. Keep away from injury if the screen is broken.
  3. Keep the product away from heat sources and avoid prolonged exposure to the sun, as the LCD screen will be damaged.
  4. Please do NOT use chemical solutions to clean this product. Wipe the monitor with a clean soft cloth to maintain the brightness of the surface.
  5. There are no adjustable components inside the monitor. Please do not disassemble or repair the unit yourself to avoid product damage.

1.1 Front + Rear

The monitor features a 6-inch touchscreen display. Key interface elements are located on the top, bottom, left, and right sides.

1.3 Power Supply Way

  1. F970 Battery Plate: Located on the rear cover, compatible with F970 series batteries (e.g., Sony F970, F960, F950, F930, F770, F750, F730, F570, F550, F530 series). It is recommended to use original F970 batteries for optimal performance. Remove the battery if the monitor will not be used for an extended period.
  2. DC IN 12V: DC power input with polarity (+/-). Barrel connector (5.5mm outer, 2.1mm inner) located at the bottom of the monitor. Supports DC 7-14V input.
  3. DC OUT 8.4V: DC power output interface with polarity. Barrel output for powering cameras via compatible DC couplers (e.g., NP-FW50 Sony, LP-E6 Canon, DMW-BLF19 Panasonic).

1.4 Mount Points

The monitor features three 1/4"-20 thread points (top, bottom, right) for easy connection to hot shoe mounts or tripod installations.

2. Menu Operation Instruction

After connecting the power supply, the power button indicator is red. Long press the power button to turn on the monitor; the indicator turns green. Short press the power button to toggle the screen touch function on or off.

3.1 Menu Function

The main menu consists of five sections: Assist, Marker, Image, User, and System.

Assist

WaveformOff, On. Type: RGB, YUV. Assists with camera calibration by showing image brightness for exposure correction and lighting evenness.
VectorscopeOff, On. Shows image saturation and color spectrum positioning.
HistogramOff, On. Type: Y, RGB, Y+RGB. Displays the tonal distribution of the image.
Focus AssistOff, On. Focus Color: Red, Green, Blue, White. Focus Level: 1-100. Highlights in-focus areas.
False ColorOff, On. Type: Red, Green, Blue, White. Level: 1-100. Assigns colors to represent luminance levels for exposure.
MonochromeOff, On. Type: Spectrum, ARRI. Displays the image in monochrome for detailed analysis.

Marker

Nine GridOff, On. Divides the screen into nine equal sections for composition.
Safe AreasOff, On. Type: 70%, 80%, 90%, 16:9, 16:10, 4:3, 5:4, 1:1, 1.91:1, 4:5, 9:16, 1.85:1, 2.35:1. Line Color: Red, Green, Blue, White, Black, Yellow. Marks areas considered safe for broadcast.
CrosshairOff, On. Displays a crosshair for precise focusing.
Cinema GuidesType: 16:9, 16:10, 4:3, 1.85:1, 2.35:1, 2.41:1, 1.91:1, 5:4, 1:1.91. Line Color: Red, Green, Blue, White, Black, Yellow. Marker Mat Alpha: 0%-75%. Displays common cinematic aspect ratios.

SettingOptions
Scan ModeMode: Under Scan, Over Scan. Adjusts how the image fits the screen.
Aspect RatioType: 16:9, 16:10, 4:3, 5:4, 1.85:1, 2.35:1, User. User allows custom Video Width (100%-200%) and Video Height (100%-200%). Sets the display aspect ratio.
AnamorphicType: 1.25x, 1.33x, 1.5x, 1.8x, 2.0x, 2.0x mag. Adjusts for anamorphic lens footage.
MirrorAuto, 180 Degrees, Flip H, Flip V. Flips or rotates the image.
ZoomZoom Times: 1.0x - 5.0x. Magnifies the image.
FreezeOff, On. Freezes the current image frame.
HDROff, On. HLG2020, HLG709, HLG P3. Enables High Dynamic Range display modes.
LUTImport 3D LUT files from a Micro SD card (up to 50 files). LUT List displays built-in and custom LUTs (SLOG2, SLOG3, LOGC, VLOG). Ensure the SD card is inserted correctly. Applies color grading presets.
DisplayReset: Off, On. Color Temp.: 5600K, 6500K, 9300K, User. Backlight: 0-100. Brightness: 0-100. Contrast: 0-100. Saturation: 0-100. User settings allow adjustment of Red, Green, and Blue values (0-255). Controls display parameters.

OSD TimeAlways, 15s, 30s, 45s, 60s. Sets how long the On-Screen Display remains visible. OSD Alpha: 0%-75%. Adjusts OSD transparency.
VolumeMute: Off, On. Volume: 0-100. Controls audio volume.
Restore FactoryOff, On. Resets all parameters to factory defaults.
UpgradeCurrent Version: Displays the current device firmware version. Update: Copy the update file to the SD card and insert it. Click Update or use the wheel to initiate the update. Ensure the SD card is inserted correctly. Updates the device firmware.

3.2 Shortcut Menu

Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to access the shortcut menu. Tap menu boxes to open or set functions. Hide detailed parameters using the hide icon [hide-icon] and display them using the display icon [display-icon].

3.3 Status column

The status column at the top of the interface displays input/output resolution, battery level, and other information.

Note: The status bar is hidden by default and appears only when the main menu or shortcut menu is active.

6. Trouble Shooting

6.1 Only black and white or monochrome picture:

  1. Please check saturation, brightness, and contrast adjustments.
  2. Please check if 'Monochrome' is set to black, white, or monochrome image, or other conditions.

6.2 NO Image after power on:

  1. Check if the signal cable connection is in good condition.
  2. Check the signal cable connection and ensure a standard adapter is used. If powered by battery, check if the battery is fully charged.

6.3 Earphone No sound:

  1. Check if the Volume control is muted. Press the volume button and try to increase the volume.
