1 Introduction
The HWT906 is a multi-sensor device capable of detecting acceleration, angular velocity, angle, and magnetic field. Its robust housing and compact size make it ideal for industrial retrofit applications such as condition monitoring and predictive maintenance. The device can be configured to interpret sensor data using smart algorithms for a wide range of use cases.
The HWT906 is scientifically known as an AHRS IMU sensor. It measures 3-axis angle, angular velocity, acceleration, and magnetic field. Its primary strength lies in its algorithm, which accurately calculates the three-axis angle.

- Heated for best data availability: Features a new WITMOTION patented zero-bias automatic detection calibration algorithm that surpasses traditional accelerometer sensors.

2 Warning Statement
- Applying more than 5 Volts across the sensor wiring from the main power supply can cause permanent damage to the sensor.
- Connecting VCC directly to GND will result in the burning of the circuit board.
- For proper instrument grounding, use WITMOTION with its original factory-made cable or accessories.
- For secondary development projects or integration, use WITMOTION with its compiled sample code.

5 MCU Connection
To connect the test board to the module and subsequently to a computer, a Type-C port and a pin header port are provided for easy connection. Install the HWT906 into the test board slot.

Step 1. Connect the sensor with a serial converter
PIN Connection:
- VCC - 5V
- RX - TX
- TX - RX
- GND - GND
(When connecting with a computer, VCC-5V is recommended.)
