Allegro CT100LW-HS6 EVB102 SOT23-6 Evaluation Board User Guide
Brand: Allegro MicroSystems
Model: CT100LW-HS6
Description
The CT100 is a 1D linear sensor utilizing Allegro's patented XtremeSense™ TMR technology, configured in a full-bridge setup. It is designed to measure magnetic fields within a total range of –50 mT to 50 mT, offering exceptional temperature stability across the entire operating temperature range. The device supports a wide input voltage range from 1.0 V to 5.5 V. The EVB102 SOT23-6 evaluation board is suitable for applications involving linear measurements, proximity sensing, and current sensing. This guide provides instructions on connecting and using the EVB102 SOT23-6 evaluation board.

Using the Evaluation Board
To use the evaluation board, connect the power supply to VDD and GND. The maximum allowable voltage is 5.5 VDC. For general use, apply 3.3 VDC to VDD and GND. Connect a multimeter to OUT1 and OUT2 to measure the output. Pass a magnet steadily over the IC to obtain a reading, which should be between 0 mV and 200 mV. As the magnet moves from VDD towards GND, the current output will initially increase and then decrease as it reaches GND. It is recommended to use short cables, at least 18 AWG, for connections.
