Step 02 | Installation
Straight-match Instructions
The total printed area for our wallpaper is 24.75” W X 324” H (9 yards).
This width includes a 0.75” overlap for installation. Installers will use the “Double Cut” method to hang each panel, removing both the overlap and underlap after cutting.
Diagram Description: The "Double Cut" method involves overlapping two wallpaper panels by 0.75 inches. A straight edge is placed vertically down the center of the overlap. A sharp knife cuts through both layers of wallpaper along the straight edge. The excess overlap from the first panel and the excess underlap from the second panel are then removed, creating a perfectly aligned seam.
- Professional installation is suggested for our wallpaper.
- Wallpaper does not come pre-pasted and requires a double cut installation.
- Our recommended Paste: Roman Pro 880 or Roman 838 Heavy Duty Clear.
- Standard Glue on Paper Installation. Let paste sit 3-5 minutes.
Drop-match Instructions
Check the pattern repeat on the wallpaper label (e.g., 24" half drop).
Unroll and identify the pattern. Lay out at least two strips side by side on the floor to see how they align.
Calculate extra paper: Drop-match repeats usually mean more waste. Account for this when cutting your lengths by adding a few extra inches to allow for matching.
