Thank you for choosing a Xavax product. Take your time and read the following instructions and information completely. Keep these operating instructions in a safe place for future reference.
1. Explanation of Warning Symbols and Notes

3. Controls and Displays
The device features a weighing surface, a digital display, and several control buttons.

- 1. Unit button: Selects the units of measurement (g, ct, gn, oz, ozt, dwt).

⚠️ Battery Warnings
- When inserting batteries, ensure correct polarity (+/-). Incorrect polarity may cause leakage or explosion.
- Use only batteries matching the specified type.
- Clean battery contacts and product contacts before inserting batteries.
- Do not allow children to change batteries without supervision.
- Do not mix old and new batteries, or batteries of different types or makes.
- Remove batteries from products not in use for extended periods (unless for emergency).
- Do not short-circuit batteries.
- Do not charge batteries.
- Do not throw batteries into fire.
- Keep batteries out of reach of children.
- Never open, damage, swallow, or dispose of batteries in the environment. They can contain toxic, environmentally harmful heavy metals.
- Immediately remove and dispose of dead batteries.
- Avoid storing, charging, or using the device in extreme temperatures and low atmospheric pressure (e.g., at high altitudes).
⚠️ Button Cell Warnings
- Do not ingest battery; risk of burns from dangerous substances.
- This product contains button cells. If swallowed, severe internal burns can occur within two hours, potentially leading to death.
- Keep new and used batteries out of reach of children.
- If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and keep it out of reach of children.
- Seek immediate medical assistance if batteries are suspected to have been swallowed or inserted into the body.
5. Getting Started
5.1 Insert the batteries
Open the battery compartment on the back and insert two CR2032 button cell batteries. Ensure correct polarity (+/-); the positive pole (+) must point upwards. Close the battery compartment securely.
5.2 Units of Measurement
Available units are: g (gram), ct (carat), gn (grain), oz (ounce), ozt (troy ounce), and dwt (pennyweight). Press the Unit button to cycle through the units in the order: g-ct-gn-oz-ozt-dwt-g.
5.3 Weighing
- Place the scales on a clean, level, and stable surface.
- Switch on the scales by pressing the Power on/off button. All symbols will appear on the display. Wait until "0.0 g" is shown.
- Place the item to be weighed onto the scales and read the weight value.
5.4 Using the Tare Function (TARE)
Place an empty container on the scales; its weight will be displayed. Press the TARE button to zero the scale. Then, place the item to be weighed into the container. Only the net weight of the item will be shown.
Once the display is stable, the scales will automatically switch off after approximately 60 seconds. You can manually switch off the scales by pressing and holding the Power on/off button.
6. Error Messages
- If the error message "O-Ld" is displayed, the scale is overloaded.
- If the error message "LO" is displayed, the battery is low. Replace the battery as soon as possible.
7. Care and Maintenance
- Clean this product only with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents. Ensure no water enters the scale.
- The weighing surface is made of stainless steel.
