Overview
The GRP2614 is a next-generation enterprise IP Phone featuring:

Emergency Services Disclaimer
IMPORTANT: The GRP2614 is NOT pre-configured to support or carry emergency calls to hospitals, law enforcement, or medical care units. Users MUST make separate arrangements to access Emergency Services. This includes purchasing SIP-compliant Internet telephone service, configuring the GRP2614 correctly, and periodically testing the configuration. Failure to do so means users are responsible for purchasing traditional phone services for emergency calls.
Grandstream Networks does NOT provide connections to Emergency Services via the GRP2614. Grandstream, its officers, employees, or affiliates are not liable for any claims, damages, or losses arising from the inability to use the GRP2614 for emergency calls or failure to make additional arrangements.
Precautions
- WARNING: DO NOT power cycle the GRP2614 during system boot up or firmware upgrade, as this may corrupt firmware and cause malfunction.
- WARNING: Use ONLY the included 12V power adapter. Using an alternative adapter may damage the unit.
Phone Setup
Installing the Phone (Wall Mount - *sold separately)
Follow these steps for wall mounting:
- Attach the wall mount spacers to the designated slot on the back of the phone.
- Mount the phone to the wall using the wall mount hole.
- Pull out the tab from the handset cradle.
- Rotate the tab and re-insert it into the slot with the extension facing up to secure the handset while wall-mounted. (The tab can be positioned down for normal use).
Installing the Phone (Phone Stand)
To install the phone using the stand on a table:
- Attach the phone stand to the bottom of the phone where the stand slot is located.
Connecting the Phone
Follow these steps to set up the GRP2614:
- Connect the handset to the main phone case using the phone cord.
- Connect the 12V DC output plug to the phone's power jack and plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet. (This step can be skipped if using a PoE switch).
- Establish a network connection using one of the following methods:
- Using Ethernet: Connect the phone's LAN port to a hub, switch, or router (LAN side) using the Ethernet cable.
- Using WiFi:
- On the LCD menu, navigate to "System → Network → WiFi settings" and enable WiFi.
- Select "Scan". The GRP2614 will scan for available networks.
- Select your desired network from the list and enter the password if required.
- Wait for the LCD to display provisioning or firmware upgrade information, and then show the date/time.
- Configure the phone using the embedded web server or keypad menu, choosing either a static IP or DHCP.

- Soft keys: Context-sensitive keys below the LCD.
- Menu/OK key: Navigates menus and confirms selections.
- Navigation keys: Up, Down, Left, Right for menu navigation.
- Standard keypad: For dialing numbers.
- Message Waiting Indicator [?]: Lights up when there are new messages.
- Message button [✉️]: Accesses voicemail.
- Phonebook button [?]: Accesses contacts.
- Hold button [⏸️]: Puts a call on hold.

- Send button [?]: Initiates a call.
- Speaker button [?]: Activates speakerphone.
- Multi-Purpose keys: Programmable keys.
- Right Key / Left Key: Soft keys associated with the LCD screen.
- Conference button [?]: Initiates conference calls.
- Transfer button [➡️]: Transfers calls.
- Headset button [?]: Activates headset mode.
- Mute button [?]: Mutes the microphone.
Phone Configuration
Configure the GRP2614 using a Web Browser
- Ensure the phone is powered on and connected to the Internet.
- Press and hold the "UP" button for 3 seconds to display the IP address on the screen.
- Enter the phone's IP address into your PC's web browser.
- Log in using the admin username and password. (Default: username="admin", password is on the sticker at the back of the unit).
Configure the GRP2614 using the Keypad
- Ensure the phone is idle.
- Press the MENU key to access the phone's configuration menu.
- Navigate to MENU → Phone → SIP → Account to configure SIP Proxy, Outbound Proxy, SIP User ID, SIP Auth ID, and SIP Password.
- Follow the menu options to configure other basic features, such as static IP settings. For detailed information, refer to the GRP2614 User Manual.
- Contact your Internet Telephony Service Provider (ITSP) for any additional settings.

U.S. FCC Part 68 Regulatory Information
This equipment complies with Part 68 of the FCC rules. The equipment label includes the ACTA registration number and ringer equivalence number (REN). The REN determines the number of devices connectable to a telephone line; the sum of RENs should not exceed 5.0 in most areas. Contact the telephone company for specific REN limits.
This equipment cannot be used on coin-operated service or Party Line Service (subject to State Tariffs).
If this equipment harms the telephone network, the telephone company will provide advance notice of service discontinuance. Users have the right to file a complaint with the FCC.
The telephone company may make changes affecting equipment operation, requiring user modifications. If the equipment causes harm, the telephone company may request its removal.
This equipment uses USOC jacks: RJ45C.
It is recommended to install an AC surge arrester to protect against electrical surges and lightning strikes.
The device has a HAC (Hearing Aid Compatibility) function; handle the earpiece carefully to avoid scratching.
