Installation instructions for CoverGuide

Manufactured by Intopool Direct Ltd

Thank you for purchasing our high quality CoverGuide. If you follow the instructions below, installation should be straightforward.

Step 1: Prepare and Attach Connectors

  1. Action: Place the end of the solar cover between the two sections of mesh, up against the welded part.

Visual Description: Hands are shown holding a blue, bubble-patterned solar pool cover. The end of the cover is being inserted between two sections of a darker blue mesh material, aligning it precisely against a visible seam or weld on the cover.

  2. Action: Insert a screwdriver through each pre-made hole in the mesh and push through the solar cover.

Visual Description: A hand holds a screwdriver, pushing its tip through a pre-made hole in the mesh and then through the solar cover material underneath.

  3. Action: Fit the press fix connectors.

Visual Description: Hands are manipulating small, blue plastic components, identified as "press fix connectors," suggesting they are being attached.

  4. Action: Place the black tubular fitting supplied over the press fix connector.

Visual Description: A black, tubular fitting is being slid over a blue press fix connector already attached to the mesh and solar cover.

  5. Action: Use a soft hammer/mallet to hit the top to ensure a tight and secure fit of the press fix. Snip off the protruding stalk.

Visual Description: A soft-faced hammer strikes the top of the press fix connector for a secure fit. Scissors are then used to snip off a small, protruding plastic stalk from the connector.

Step 2: Adjust Cover Lengths

  1. Action: To reduce the length of the mesh, cut an equal amount off from BOTH ends.

Visual Description: Scissors are shown cutting the blue mesh material to remove an equal length from both ends.

  2. Action: To reduce the length of the rigid pipe section, remove the end cap and cut an equal amount off from BOTH ends of the pipe including the foam inside. If there are ladders on one side of the pool, then just reduce the pipe on one side.

Visual Description: A rigid blue pipe section is shown. The end cap is removed, and a cutting tool is used to shorten the pipe and the foam inside from both ends (or one side if pool ladders are present).
