Intended Use

This article is a toy for children aged 3 years and above for private use.

Safety Instructions

⚠️ Attention: Not suitable for children under 36 months. Risk of suffocation. Small parts.

⚠️ Attention: The toy generates light flashes that may trigger epileptic seizures in sensitive persons.

• Assembly must be carried out by an adult. Ensure that the article and all its parts or components are handed over to the child only when fully assembled.

• Children may only play with the article under adult supervision.

⚠️ Attention: All packaging/fastening materials and the "SUPER DRY" bag (desiccant) are not part of the toy and must be removed for safety reasons before the article is given to children for play.

⚠️ Attention: The desiccant contains calcium chloride (CAS 10043-52-4). Keep out of reach of children.

• Before each use, check the article for any signs of damage or wear. The article must only be used in perfect condition!

• This article contains small magnets. Swallowed magnets can cause serious injuries! If a magnet is swallowed, seek medical attention immediately. The article has been manufactured with the utmost care. However, if damage occurs, remove the article from children immediately and dispose of it.

Battery Warnings

• LEDs are not replaceable.

• This toy contains non-replaceable batteries.

• Use only batteries of type: CR2032.

Battery Warnings!

• Remove batteries when depleted or if the article will not be used for a long period.
• Do not mix different types or brands of batteries, nor new and used batteries, or batteries of different capacities, as they may leak and cause damage.
• Observe polarity (+/-) when inserting.
• Replace all batteries simultaneously and dispose of old batteries according to regulations.
• ⚠️ Warning! Batteries must not be charged or reactivated by other means, disassembled, thrown into fire, or short-circuited.
• Always keep batteries out of reach of children.
• Do not use rechargeable batteries!
• Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision.
• If necessary, clean the battery and device contacts before inserting batteries.
• Do not expose batteries to extreme conditions (e.g., heaters or direct sunlight). This increases the risk of leakage.
• ⚠️ Attention: This article contains a coin cell battery (lithium button cell). If swallowed, a coin cell battery can cause severe internal chemical burns.
• ⚠️ Attention: Dispose of used batteries immediately. Keep new and used batteries away from children. If you suspect batteries have been swallowed or introduced into the body, seek immediate medical help.

Danger!

• Handle a damaged or leaking battery with extreme caution and dispose of it immediately according to regulations. Wear gloves during handling.
• If you come into contact with battery acid, wash the affected area with soap and water. If battery acid gets into your eyes, rinse them with water and seek immediate medical attention!
• Connection terminals must not be short-circuited.

Integrated Battery Warnings

⚠️ Warning!

• Never charge the battery immediately after use. Always let the battery cool down first (at least 5-10 minutes).
• Use only the supplied USB charging cable to charge the battery.
• As the battery heats up during charging, ensure adequate ventilation. Never cover the article!
• If electrolyte leaks from the battery and the article, avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes, and skin. Immediately rinse affected areas with plenty of clean water and consult a doctor. The electrolyte solution can cause irritation.
• Disconnect the article from the USB charging cable when it is fully charged.
• The article may only be charged in dry, enclosed indoor spaces. Never charge or store the product near significant heat sources or open flames, as this could cause the battery to explode.
• If the battery catches fire during charging, do not extinguish it with water, but with dry sand, for example.
• Do not leave the article unattended during charging and be mindful of potential overheating.
• Charge the battery only at an ambient temperature between 5-35 °C.
• The charging contacts on the device must not be connected by metal objects.
• If the article has suffered a strong impact, store it in a very safe place for the next 30 minutes (e.g., in a metal box).
• Never attempt to tamper with, modify, or repair a battery or the article.
• When the battery reaches the end of its service life, the article must be disposed of. Do not attempt to replace the battery.

Danger!

• The rechargeable battery must not be disassembled.
• The rechargeable battery must not be thrown into fire or short-circuited. The rechargeable battery can overheat and explode.

Inserting/Replacing Batteries (Fig. D)

ATTENTION! Observe the following instructions to avoid mechanical and electrical damage.

Before first use, remove the protective strip (7a) (Fig. D).

To insert and replace batteries (Part 9), proceed as shown in Fig. D.

Note: A suitable screwdriver is required (not included).

Note: Pay attention to the positive/negative poles of the batteries and insert them correctly. Batteries must be fully seated in the battery holder.

Charging the Battery (Fig. E)

1. Connect the USB plug (11a) of the USB cable (11) to the USB plug-in connection (10d) of the vehicle (10).
2. Plug the USB plug (11b) of the USB cable into a USB port of a powered-on laptop/notebook or a charging station with a USB port.

Assembly

For assembly, follow the individual steps as shown in Figs. B-C.

Usage

Vehicle (Fig. F)

Note: Slide the switch (10e) to ON to turn on the vehicle (10) and to OFF to turn it off.

• Press button (10a) to move the vehicle forward.
• Press button (10b) to stop the vehicle.
• Press button (10c) to move the vehicle backward.

Attention! The vehicle has not been designed for driving backward on bridges or slopes.

Stop Function

The electric locomotive with Stop Function detects obstacles on the track and reacts accordingly:

• When the train (10) passes through the tunnel (7), the siren in the tunnel activates.

Storage and Cleaning

When not in use, always store the article dry and clean at room temperature. Clean only with a damp cloth and then dry.

Attention: Tracks must be cleaned before first use!

IMPORTANT! Never clean with aggressive cleaning agents.

Disposal

[Recycling symbol] The symbol indicates that this equipment is subject to Directive 2012/19/UE. This directive states that at the end of its service life, this product must not be disposed of with normal household waste, but must be handed in at specially equipped collection centers, recycling facilities, or waste disposal companies.

Protect the environment and dispose of waste in accordance with current regulations.

Batteries must not be disposed of as household waste. They may contain toxic heavy metals and are subject to special waste treatment. The chemical symbols for heavy metals are as follows: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. Therefore, return used batteries to a municipal collection point.

You can obtain more information on the disposal of used equipment from your local municipality. Dispose of the equipment and packaging in an environmentally friendly manner. Keep packaging materials (e.g., plastic bags) out of reach of children.

Note the marking of packaging materials during waste separation; these are marked with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with the following meaning: 1-7: plastics / 20-22: paper and cardboard / 80-98: composite materials. The article and packaging materials are recyclable; dispose of them separately for better waste management.

Warranty and Service Information

The article has been produced with great care and under continuous control. DELTA-SPORT HANDELSKONTOR GmbH grants private end customers a three-year warranty on this article from the date of purchase (warranty period) in accordance with the following provisions. The warranty is only valid for material and manufacturing defects. The warranty does not cover parts subject to normal wear and tear, which are therefore considered wear parts (e.g., batteries), nor fragile parts such as switches or glass parts.

Claims under this warranty are excluded if the article has been used improperly or abusively, outside the scope of its intended use or application, or if the instructions in the manual have not been followed, unless the end customer proves that the article had a material or manufacturing defect not attributable to one of the aforementioned circumstances.

Warranty claims can only be made within the warranty period by presenting the original sales receipt. Please keep the original sales receipt. The warranty period will not be extended by any repairs carried out under the warranty, statutory warranty, or goodwill. This also applies to replaced and repaired parts.

In case of complaints, please first contact the service hotline below or contact us via email. If the case is covered by the warranty, we will, at our discretion, repair or replace the article free of charge or refund the purchase price. No other rights arise from the warranty. Your legal rights, particularly warranty rights against the seller, are not limited by this warranty.
