Platform and Performance
The new AmpR medium platform provides the Megane E-Tech Electric with excellent handling characteristics. Its ultra-thin 60 kWh battery, compact 160 kW electric motor, optimized weight distribution, flat floor, and low center of gravity enhance maneuverability, providing more space in the cabin and for luggage. The extended range is supported by the vehicle's weight (only 1,620 kg) and automatic battery and motor temperature regulation.
Charging Options
The Renault Megane E-Tech Electric features a standard 22 kW onboard charger for AC charging, which is double the 11 kW offered by most competitors. This allows for full charging in approximately 3 hours. AC charging is cost-effective and gentle on the battery. In the Czech Republic, 80% of charging stations are AC22. For longer journeys, the car supports fast DC charging up to 130 kW, providing an additional 200 km of range in just 30 minutes on the highway.
Esprit Alpine Exclusive Version
The Esprit Alpine version draws inspiration from the rich history of the Alpine brand. Distinctive design elements include 20" Speedway alloy wheels, a sport front bumper with an F1 blade in matte grey schiste satin, and rear lights with a 3D "moiré" effect. Optional matte grey schiste satin paint is also available. The interior features upholstery in synthetic leather and recycled textile with blue stitching, and the steering wheel is accented with French tricolor stitching.
